Any funds from the sale of Greenwood should find their way to domestic abuse charities

i think scholay is auditioning to be a main contender for Khunt of the Year, this year.

Doesn't he want the Qataris too?

Talk about being an absolute hypocrite. 😂😂😂
---------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you talking about you prize idiot!

Yes I want them. If you want to talk about hypocrite, maybe consult with your PM that got involve to ensure that the Newcastle deal went ahead as we all know the UK doing dodgy dealing daily. Even the king accepted money from them, but hey it is an issue scholay is in support of Qatar ownership.

Delusional.

Women's rights in Qatar are awful. In fact human rights are just in general.

So you're not okay with Greenwood but you're fine with Qataris? Can't you see the hypocrisy there?

You're willing to look the other way for Qatar because they are filthy rich. That's all it is. 😂

I've always had the same opinion, people make mistakes, people can also be held accountable and move on with their lives.

In the eyes of the law, and seemingly, the victim in question, Mason has moved on with his life.

I'll now leave it up to ETH to decide whether he feels Mason has grown up, hopefully he has the ultimate decision because I trust him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Adam Johnson turns really good, would you be against signing him? Still a few years left in him.

He's 35 now.

Prime noncing age is 35

Fck I’m 34 this summer, need to make headway in my pro football career soon or it’ll be too late.

Yep; it's deja vu all over again, as they say.

And some of the same people are still yet to educate themselves about the dynamics of domestic abusive relationships.

"They're getting married!"

Every single day, women get married to men who abuse them physically and emotionally.

"They're having a baby!"

There are thousands of women in the UK, right now, pregnant with the unborn children of partners who abuse them, and sometimes their existing children, physically and emotionally.

Just because they are together and pregnant does not even begin to suggest that a) she is happy, and b) she is safe.

(I'm not alleging anything here, just pointing out that the arguments above are completely valueless.)

And on any potential 'new leaf', domestic violence has just about the highest recidivism rate of any and all crimes.

Murderers can be reformed, larcenists can be reformed, drug dealers can be reformed. But more often than not perpetrators of domestic violence are not. The data tells us that they reoffend over, and over, and over again.

Which, of course, the club will be considering carefully as it weighs the risk of one of the biggest potential PR shiiiitshows in sporting history.

Agree with all of that.

Equally though, we don’t know anymore other than the recording we’ve all heard.

It’s not conclusive and there should be professionals helping the club to make the right decision and also to support the young lady in question here, rather than the club just ditching them and washing their hands of it.

Welcome back Mason. New song to the tune of the Detroit one:

Get your legs up, get your legs up
Get your legs up
Get your legs up for Greenwood, he hates Man city
Get your legs up, get your legs up for Greenwood

We could have RDD and Scholay with megaphones leading it. Vidischin leading the dance moves. Every time we shout get your legs up the fans have to sit on their seat and raise their legs in the air in front of them in a being raped motion. Fun for all the family.

Would be a fitting tribute to welcome him back.

This. People need very little in the court of public opinion and the fact is none of us know what the situation is at all. It certainly seems a bit of a strange one, her dad came out after and I remmeber thinking it was weird how he reacted. Didn't come across like a guy who just found out his daughter was being treated in the way it appeared and it has always left me with the lingering feeling that there's just more to the entire situation.

The simple fact is there isn't going to be a trial, we won't know what, if anything, he's guilty of. Or what she's potentially guilty of.

It seems like a very toxic situation/relationship and it seemed like she/her dad had regretted the public posting almost as soon as it happened.

It doesn't come across like an open and shut DA case but we would absolutely still be hanging and burning people in the street still if we were allowed to. I find it difficult to really take a stance on. The recording was very uncomfortable to listen to but events since and the unknown surrounding the situation means I'm very cautious to chalk someone's entire character up to what is extremely limited information. I just about fall on the fact that there's too much unknown to plant myself down and hate him or insist this ruin his life.

It's a mess but fortunately I expect the club to take a far more considered, advised approach than what you'll find in any discussion on the Internet. If we keep him, I'd like to think we've at least some reason to.

I won't call her a liar but I also won't brand him. I would always support anybody coming forward but equally expect any accusations to stand up to scrutiny. If he'd a real POS then I imagine it will still come out and this will all just delay the inevitable. If he goes his whole career with no further incident though and the two are seemingly happy and raising a family, well then as time goes on I'll likely find it easier and more comfortable to see him playing football and probably be glad I didn't dedicate time trying to slander a potentially innocent person.

Spot on.

No place for that kind of individual ANYWHERE in our society.

Let alone allowing them to have an opportunity to raise their profile to people who are already susceptible to idolising the failings and failures of so many individuals in our society. And by pretending that that kind of behaviour is acceptable to our species (let alone club) that is exactly how it will rightly be viewed.

There is even one OdiousCuntyType on this forum suggesting that the club has the right to make money on him and justifying that with some really AbjectCuntyness like:

"We shouldn’t be giving him away for free just to appease the morality police"

Damn right they shouldn't be giving him away for free.

They should be booting him out of the door, followed by some, well-aimed, rounds of high velocity ammunition AND making him pay for the pleasure.

Followed just as swiftly by those that think that kind of behaviour is acceptable or changeable. Vile people

I guess this might have already been asked, but why would sources in Spain be privy to alleged contacts between Greenwood and Milan? What Spanish salsas are those?
