Why Spurs, why not United with their shoestring budget?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd happily take him. Huge upgrade on our manager.

He wouldn't get two paychecks at Utd though.

Wouldn't need them, he'd be quite happy to get Sancho's wages.

SE85 isn't capable of independent thought.

Of course it was United's PR team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have said numerous times Pep is one of the greatest of all time tbf and he clearly is.

He really hasnt had it tough at City though. Financial doping club with access to tens of billions. What's so amazing about that.

He should take the Spurs job in the summer and show how good he is. Of course he wouldn't win there though would he?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never understood that argument. The reason he’s not managed a team like Spurs is he hasn’t failed at a big club and so had to go to a team like that for a while. If people want to see how his style of football wouldwork with a team without the perception of having all the best players, then it’s there this season with what Arteta has done with Arsenal or watch Burnley and Komoany, he’s using a lot of the same patterns too.

Clearly there’s a lot more to it than just the tactics and style of football, but it at least shows it works. It needs complimentary characteristics within the team, it still works at any level though.

And how would we pay Sancho?

He's not being sold let's be honest here. Nobody would take him 😂

I would argue Pep & Klopp will be remembered as better managers than Fergie and Wenger in the premiership
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You would argue that Klopp with his single PL title is better than Fergie with thirteen?

Aye I suppose YOU would

He's not proving anything managing City. Two bang average managers would with you before him.

That's the point.

He did. Greece won that not too long ago though. Is he still an honorary member of the royal family? 😂😂😂

Mancini isn't a top class manager. Pellegrini isn't either. Managing City has been like doing an old champ man save with edit mode on.

It's all been built on lies and deceit and a ton of someone else money.

There very little sport achievement. That's why most people don't care about you.

Can't even fill Wembley either for a semi final. Embarrassing. 😂

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s a really bad point then as both of them were getting far less points per season than him and didn’t win anywhere near as much. Neither could maintain it, which is what sets people like Guardiola and Ferguson apart (although I’ll maintain they shouldn’t be a comparable).

That Marco Pierre White is a rubbish chef, he’s never turned around the fortunes of his local McDonald’s….

Bitter?

We might well be joining them with ME money. I don't want it. That's the difference.

City couldn't win a raffle without it. That's not the hallmark of a big club is it?

You're entitled to your opinion, but to say there's little sporting achievement and no one cares about City is just lying to yourself.

Blaming City for Sheffield United not selling their full allocation at Wembley.

That's even desperate for you.

SE has always written an awful lot about a topic he doesn’t care about!

On the Wembley thing, I know a few Sheffield United fans that didn’t go yesterday and I expected them to sell out as they haven’t been there as often as we have.

I went to the Brighton semi final a few years ago but haven’t been to any since. The cost for a day for a semi final just isn’t worth it. I get why they do it but I much preferred it being at somewhere like Villa Park for the semi. It’s still somewhere different for both clubs.

posted on 23/4/23

If it's all about money, how come United don't win every trophy, every season on account of being the biggest spenders with the biggest wagebill?

Is it because Sheffield United can't sell out Wembley?

Must be.

The statements that Ferguson proved himself as a more rounded manager, in terms of the teams he won with, and that Guardiola doesn’t need to prove he can be a more rounded manager can both be true.

No one cares about that comparison, other than people arguing on a forum.

Pretty much. I don’t even think there’s a comparable there anyway, given they fulfilled completely different roles. Like I said earlier, it’s more likely if teams had retained the normal UK model, Guardiola would have been more likely to have worked for Ferguson rather than been a peer.

I love how it is somehow City's fault that Sheffield didn't sell their allocation of tickets. Embarrassing post from an embarrassing and very bitter poster. He will probably find fault with City finishing the game with 3 academy products on the pitch too.

Does everyone remember the time when Uefa sanctioned United with squad size limit and then a ban? Does everyone remember the time where the PL issued 115 charges of financial corruption against Utd?

Yeah no me neither.

Not only have you had a huge advantage with your owner....that wasn't even enough. You had to cook your books too.

Rui Pinto. What a guy. 😂
