I doubt we'll ever have 'Pep Time'.
The mark of immortality is to have a phenomemum named after you like changing the rules of the game and making a match last until you've won it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, it was amazing how Fergie redefined injury time so that only one team could attack and score in it.

I think that’s more a mark of just how much SAF managed to ruin the lives of people like you for so long.
Delicious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's ruined yours for the last decade. The club was left in a state.
If Pep leaves with City being in a good place that will put him above Fergie for me, not just the trophy haul.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Except he hasn’t, because I’m not the one crying about Pep. I quite like him.

Same. I even quite like Klopp, though many don't and I can see why they don't.
I'm too unhappy and bitter to have an opinion on Klopp.

Surely Ranieri over Klopp. Same number of PL titles yet Ranieri won with Lester.
The fact that our owners replaced that gormless priiick Graham Potty with literally one of the only managers who is capably of doing a worse job than him is furrrking hilarious.

I don’t know what is more ridiculous , Chelsea bringing in Lampard or us bringing in Ralf.
I guess that at least with Ralf he publicly highlighted to all what was wrong with our club.
Rangnick at the time at least made sense. Fat Frankie is a proven failure as a manager, dunno what the owners expected he was going to do aside from possibly drag us into a relegation battle

People seem to forget the financial advantage Utd had on every other club during the 90s and 00s
----------------------------------------------------------------------
presumably they forget it because it isn't true
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely.
Just another convenient myth.
United once lined up against an LFC team that (with the exception of Keane) cost less in total than Stan Collymore.
SAF won titles with prudent manipulation of the buying of uncelebrated, but epl proven and experienced, players from lesser clubs (leeds, spurs, arsenal, everton etc) and the odd insertion of some dynamism from the more competitive european leagues + a sprinkling of academy players.
No one will match what his epl record proves.
However, Guardiolas record outside the epl is very special.
Pep already won trebles though.
