Lewis Ridd, a keeper released by Ipswich, has joined their Rams.
Warne says the offer is so far apart they don’t expect it to go anywhere.
It's rumoured midfielder Ryan Woods is being offered as a part exchange for Bird.

Fin I understand but why would Derby make it known that Hull had made a bid for Bird? The only reason I can think of is that they want Hull to up their bid.
Where is report which says Shrewsbury town are after Collins
Not liking all these reports of players going OUT.
I think it was on the latest thread but cheers to those who mentioned listening to Radio Derby Sport yesterday. Paul Warne was , no surprise, a great listen with his traffic report a great touch.
I can see what he's trying to do, it's a great touch by an enigmatic character to unite the football community. Can anyone see Paul Clement on Radio Derby trying this? Here's hoping the fans ( not necessarily on here ) who tend to lose patience very quickly are going to give Warne time to build the team and to get consistency with results.

Desi, is there such a thing as a patient football supporter?
PW said on RD yesterday that he did not like it that Hull's interest in and bid for Bird had become public knowledge. He expects transfer dealings to be kept secret and said someone had leaked the bid by Hull. So nothing untoward on Derby's part.
Warne is in need of a striker, well there's one at PSG wanting another club so what is he waiting for? The guy has no ambition, Warne out.
Rumours we're interested in Jack Vale on loan from Blackburn.
Paul Warne's comments have left me wondering who he's referring to?
"I just don't think anything exciting has happened. There are a couple of players who have gone to League One clubs that I am envious of that didn't come here.
"
Mark Harris possibly one of them who has joined Oxford United and PW also referred to the club as dark horses in promotion bid. But who could the other player(s) that stand out be?
Would be good to know, Desi but I guess we never will.
Connor Hourihane voted captain for this season by the players.
Just read that Waghorn has been offered a deal by us and it he ball is in his court.

He did ok for us Ken, but he's 33. I was hoping for a young quick striker in the Kevin Hector mould.
We will not do too well if we don't get a 20 goal man cuz I don't think Colly or Wash are prolific scorers.
PS I think I've been listening to Pauly Warney too much.
We'll only get a younger striker if someone crops up on the free market or ,more obvious I know , once the loan market opens.
PW has recognised Waghorn is somewhere in between a No. 9 & a No.10 (possibly a polite way of saying he's not really either!) I think it's evident that we're not getting first or possibly even second choice targets when it comes to CF due to wages offered elsewhere for example which is why we're looking at Waghorn.
I doubt he'd have been on the list of targets, due to the testimonial PW liked what he saw and called him in. Here's hoping he can do a job.
Conversation earlier today and the name Dwight Gayle was dropped. Again not in the age bracket we possibly desire and injuries have caught up with him a little bit but if he's fit I wouldn't mind him on a season as he could certainly do the job at this level. (Rumour)
VC and Desi, agree with both of you. Waghorn may be ok to bring off the bench or if we have injuries, but he was never prolific in his last spell with us.
I’d like to see an hungry young pacy forward but as Desi suggested, the reality is that will have to be a loan and most loan strikers are unlikely to be prolific.
Michael Smith from Sheffield Wednesday apparently is a target
Cheers UT.
I like the sound of him from what I've read. Plays for Sheff Wednesday, 31 years old with a strong goal scoring record at L1 level having scored 17 last season.
Previously with Rotherham so will understand PW's style of play and what's demanded of him and he scored 19 that season.
Due to Wednesday's change of management Smith is considered surplus to requirements and wouldn't cost too much. Considered a target man either to complete with Collins (I hope so) or to replace him (hope not) given the rumours that Shrewsbury are interested in Collins.
