At least you can take solace in the fact that the guy you dont want is more of a personal reason for the dislike of the man. he isnt much of a risk, just a slimy snakey bassa.

If the support against him can put the prev stuff behind them and he starts well it will be all good. The first hint of poor form however could see the vultures out to protest against his appointment.

Perhaps they are giving the weekend to see what/if banners come out

It’s genuinely not personal. I had no issue with him moving on to what he believed was a significant step up and a route back to the EPL.

I began to turn up to games expecting a win but with the absolute minimum of entertainment or enjoyment. Most games after the first season and a half were turgid to watch and I travel hours and many miles at significant expense to the point I started to just not enjoy it and saw it as a chore.

I pay to be entertained. I’m not some avid follower of the 3 points are all that matters.

I dread to think after the last two seasons that this is what we will return to.

I agree with what you are saying but we were also spoiled with ange.

Not many managers can play attacking football and win.

Who knows maybe rodgers has adapted his style and we might see more emphasis on attack.

yeah perhaps not with yourself but with a decent swell of the support it seems that the ditching you mid way through the season seems to be a bigger barrier than the perhaps boring football (I never seen that side as much but rarely watched your games in entireity tbf then) The league wasnt competitive so didnt pay as much attention to your games, more just the highlights and that side of things doesnt really show then.

I think the reality is also that there was most likely always gonna be this feeling after Ange, not many managers will be able to produce the football he did.

Id rather you went for someone else tbh, one that could be a bit riskier !!

I feel bad. I openly said I was sure he’d be back one day based purely on the massive house he bought near Lennoxtown. I never imagined so soon or permanent but thought it was inevitable cos nice as the campsies are it can be brutal up there too.
