Let’s be honest it doesn’t matter who you appoint, even Lampard could win something in the SPL.
The concern about Rodgers - as you warned Leicester fans 4 years ago, is the damage he can do when left in post for too long. He dumped Celtic before that happened the first time around - Celtic need to make sure he’s only there for 2 seasons
Can’t believe the fans are so accepting of him though given the way he walked after all the shiiiit he came out with.

Yeah I totally get that - I guess I was expecting more of an outcry from the Celtic fan base but then again he was very successful last time.
His stock has fallen pretty far since he was last at Celtic. After initial success at Leicester (and he inherited an exceptional group of young players) he’s damaged the club massively by taking over the recruitment, signing trash we didn’t need and then refusing to play them while complaining he didn’t have enough money when he was backed more than any other manager before him.
His attitude was also rotten - absolutely shifted the blame for his own tactical failings on to the board at every opportunity and had the nerve to say he could have kept us up after a run of 1 win in about 10 games - conceding about 700 goals in the process

The Ego has landed.
I've got a bad feeling about Rodgers coming back. hes undoubtedly a good manager, he can get results.
But..
He was up against absolute Rangers diddies when he was last at Celtic, it was a doddle.
He had issues with recruitment and rumoured clashes with Lawwell last time out.
He left us at a crucial time, and a part of the fan base will never forgive him for that, and that could infect our support.
Time will tell.
Never a Celt, always a fraud.

Being honest here. Rodgers with decent funding will dominate Scottish football which is our bread and butter and leads to CL riches.
Fans will be content and so will the board. Not my choice as I’ve made clear but I’m sure I’ll live.
