Have you watched the documentary on his 'workshops'?

Mental.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That was a grate grift tbf.

Pay me thousands of dollars n I will show u how to con people outta $$$)
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's when he makes them pay to get smashed about in the Octagon that really made me laugh.

It reminded me of some mid 90's sales training overall. It's about £10k too or something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's an absolute ton of grifters out there selling packages for ludicrous amounts of money, be it "Alpha training", gym training, get rich quick schemes etc.

Virtually all of them are stuff you can find for free on the internet and yet morons actually buy it for thousands.

People seem to really struggle with separating ideas or things people say and personal/character judgements.

Someone says something you agree with? Good person. They say something you disagree with? Bad person.

Andrew Tate makes some very valid points on some issues. That doesn't mean he makes valid points on every issue and it doesn't mean he's a good person.

People seem to need to be all in or all out and there's very little inbetween. I know loads of people who I think are right on certain topics but wrong on others and there are plenty of people I agree with on certain things but don't like them personally.

Andrew Tate is a prime example. People tend to either think he's a god or utter trash with nothing of value to say but as with most things, the truth is somewhere inbetween.

If you tell people that they will have similar views to Hitler on some things, not even important things, just anything. They will share certain opinions he had, like egg on toast being a good start to the day. But if you mention that they will share some views and opinions with Hitler they tend to recoil and take it like a personal insult.

Because people cannot separate ideas from people. Learn to do that and this gets loads easier. Do I think he's trafficked people? I don't care enough to look into but as a very lazy observation it wouldn't surprise me. That doesn't mean that he's completely wrong about the some of the things young men are currently missing or certain attitudes like taking accountability, ownership etc for your life. You can agree with him on X without needing to validate his entire being.

So for me he sits in a similar to camp to many other people, Candace Owens is an example. People who I think make good points on certain issues at certain times but who I also pretty heavily disagree with on other issues and suspect I wouldn't like to associate with them on a regular basis.

Just seen they've seized £235m in crypto.

That's got to hurt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thort crypto was immune 2 being seiz ed by the guvmint?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No idea, I assume if they can trace it to you, or access the wallets on your devices then it's fair game. No idea though really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Donet know eether but I think read that was one of the GRATE THINGS about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he'd read a bit about it, then yes, he could have kept anyone from accessing his crypto..

But reading is for slow minds!

The courts can't just cancel him because they find his actions unlawful. What happened to free action? It will become a very dangerous world if we let authorities decide what we can and cannot do.

Two upstanding people. Especially Candace Owens who called Juneteenth ‘ghetto’ today in her never ending quest to be the modern day Michael Jackson and scrub off her blackness

He has obviously said some stupid things, but he has said some smart things too. Like anyone in the world you have to filter out the good messages and what you agree with. Society today is very polarising in the sense that you either share the same opinion 100% of the time or youre "enemies" and a "moron".

What are the smart things he's said? I've never paid attention to him but does seem an idiot to me, from the small clips I've seen, added to the rape and trafficking thing of course.

Its like saying Hitler did some good things, but lets not polarise over killing 6 million jews.

Yes, Godwin's law, but its the same, innit.

Yeah but he said some correct things like fat men should go to the gym and having lots of money means you can buy expensive cars.

Those two woaaaaah, crazy truth bombs means the raaape stuff is balanced fairly

IMO Tate is like that Britain First group who used to post innocuous enough photos of Poppies etc. It was for a sinister purpose though just to draw people in to think they were reasonable. Tate may be right on one or two things but, in the main, all I see is idiocy. I don't even detect a hint of irony in his arrogance either.

Even putting aside all vile criminal activity, if a figure is widely known for advocating s3xual exploitation of women and describing women in horrible, dehumanising terms, it might prompt me to look at his opinions on other things (emphasis on material gain; the basis of his self-reliance shtick) with a bit more critical distance. Or maybe try to find a self-improvement guru who comes without the rapey aspects of the message.

Yep, this is my take on most of these talking heads... They mainly just say what most normal people think, or at leats what their base thinks... But occasionally add in a bit of insidious thinking. Some people can spot it a mile away, others just nod and agree as they have now been trained to with the simple things they say.

I imagine it is straight out of Propaganda/Grifting 101

I'd assume and I am happy to stand corrected it might depend on the level of misogyny you'll accept?

Things can be 'smart' and 'untish' at the same time, I assume it falls into this category.
