Seemed like it was such a stupid move that there had to be something going on behind the scenes that we didn't know about. Nope, just stupid

The only thing I can think of is that the intent was to get his troops out of Ukraine before they all end up dead.

But there are flaws in that, by the bucket load.

There has to be something no one has seen yet.

Another way of looking at it is that the Wagner leader has been critical of the Defence Ministry in Russia and wanted a more hardline approach to Ukraine. He has managed to get his troops out of Ukraine and be relocated to Belarus where Russia has recently move tactical nukes. One of his big criticisms has been that Russia has been too scared to use tactical nukes.

Ultimately the only successful Russian thing in Ukraine is now probably not going to be fighting in Ukraine anymore.

So a win for Zelensky and co

so is his whole battalion moving to Belarus?
