Jonny Evans has to be up there.
Free transfer and outperforming United's more expensive signings. No mean feat.
Yeah I love Rice but he's probably too expensive to be considered signing of the season (Even though for us he'd have been a bargain at double the price, incredible player).
Barkley is a good shout, comfortably Luton's most talented player I think and a brave signing from Luton.
As we can't put forward any of ours on this thread I nominate Mount as the worst one.
If ever a signing confirmed how bad United are in the transfer market, this one is it.

Kudus has been a top signing too

Would like to have him at Arsenal
The price tag shouldnt be the criterium to excluse a player of signing of the year.
The amount of money we paid for Rice is worth it. He helped transformed Arsenal and he himself has improved and still a lot of potential to develop further.

Still surprised by this, though he's obviously been really unlucky. I quite liked Mount, personally wouldn't have minded if Liverpool went for him
Can't get onboard with Endo I'm afraid Robbing.

Fair. A good amount of decency bias there, although the price was good

Hard to ignore that price tag though right. We got Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Endo all for less

I don't buy that. The value has to be taken into account. If you went out and bought Messi in his prime or Mbappe then they'd automatically be the considered the best signing if price wasn't considered.
The fact remains that Arsenal are five points off where they were after 26 games last year. He's a very good player but the stats suggest that there's a slight regression with him in the side. Your chances of winning the league hinge on whether your centre backs remain fit, not the signing of Rice for 100m.

Vicario I reckon. He’s probably won his team the most points out of any of the new signings.

So nothing to do with having a complete new midfield with selling Xhaka and Partey being unavailable?
Rice is quality but to say he's transformed Arsenal is rather OTT.
They basically have an almost identical goals for and goals against record to this time last year, but less points.
He has provided some consistency in terms of being available, unlike Partey, but he hasn't transformed Arsenal or their fortunes so far. If they stay in this sort of form instead of falling away like last season then he may well be instrumental to that but on all measures currently they're no better than last season
given the fee it has to be vicario.

It's depth. You've signed depth. He does the job Partey normally does, who, lucky for you, got injured and justified the signing of Rice but to say that he's the signing of the season when in reality all he's done is come in and hit the ground running in the same way Partey would have done is excessive.

Agree with this but not sure there has been any signings this season that have transformed their team? My biggest argument with Rice would be that he has been one of the most consistent players in a team that's going for the title. We certainly wouldn't be in the position we are currently in if we didn't have him. Especially when you factor in that Partey, one of our better players from last season, has effectively missed the whole campaign.
Again (certain Spurs fans) just list your own.
