Love how you've tried to turn this into "just coz this affects Rangers" argument Magnum
The fixtures for the rest of the season could be affected if this game doesn't get played soon....so it's affects the whole league...a league that's already skint and a bit of a laughing stock because of $hite like this
If the pitch was anywhere near playable, I'd have gathered this game went ahead tonight...Dundee are a fcking joke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How will it effect the rest of the season?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dundee are the club best placed to finish 6th but Hibs or Motherwell could still pop them to that spot
All games before the split have to be played before the split fixtures are announced
If this game can't be played next week, and Dundee's final pre-split league position of either 6th or 7th isn't confirmed, the SPFL have a decision to make, or the post split fixtures could be delayed, which will affect the whole league

There's a chance that if we played last Wednesday, pitch would've been torn up and deemed unplayable for Motherwell's game on Saturday.....pitch was touch and go as it was for Saturday let alone had it hosted a match on Wednesday too...so could've been same situation only with the Motherwell game rather than Rangers

If you can't handle a game or two being postponed in the wettest country in Europe then you can always move elsewhere?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Iceland, Ireland, Norway...?
Not that I'd chuck stats back at you or anything
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. It is concentrated more locally in the UK so the average isn't as high. For example there is the most rain in the whole of the UK in Dundee, just around Dundee and Dens Park. Elswhere in the country like at Tannadice, there is far less rainfall so doesn't really affect football matches going ahead.

Well considering the Motherwell game nearly never went ahead with ground staff apparently working constantly since the postponed game perhaps it wasn't playable?
Our big bad plan worked, going to be played at Ibrox apparently

If that’s the case, then it’s a fwcking joke to be honest.
Why not play it at any of the other SPFL venues?
And I can’t see Dundee just sitting by and accepting this either.

Why not just give Rangers 3 points for the Dundee failing to provide a playable surface? SPFL like handing things to clubs, things like titles

Our team and fans have travelled to Dundee on an extra occasionl now. So keeps it even. Granted some may not have set off by time it was cancelled.
If it was scheduled for last week it would have been off, think that was pretty obvious.

Of all the solutions to this, playing it at Ibrox seems to me like the one that would cause the most controversy....Dundee forfeiting the game would make more sense than that
Just seen Aberdeen's statement on VAR. Not a great day for Scottish football.
£400k a year Doncaster is getting for this shambles.
If it is to be played at Ibrox then do our season ticket holders get in for free and we are the home team? Rangers can be the away side and pay us for 48,000 away tickets at £35 a pop.

Well Dundee would need to rent Ibrox so I would have thought that 48,000 away tickets at £35 would be about the rental cost
I am assuming Tannadice is available so in these scenarios surely just moving the game a couplle of yards would solve the problem for all.
