Same.
Although I wouldn’t mind if someone like Keano came in for our last games. If anything just to scream at the players and tell em what’s what.
Interesting listening to both Scholes & Owen talking after the game. Specifically regarding McClaren; they both said, with absolute certainty, that his coaching has been nowhere near this team. They think that ETH has taken that away from his duties completely because a McClaren team would never be doing the things that they’re currently doing.
ETH also talked about players not going off the script so it sounds like they’re not doing what he’s telling them to do.
ETH does have to go as it’s clearly reached that point now but there’s only been one consistency in these past ten years and that’s players with wrong attitudes throwing managers under the bus and them having way more power than the managers. Until that changes at our club, we won’t see much change at all.
His biggest issue is that he said himself to Neville the other day that he wants to play high-pressing, controlling football but he doesn't have the players to do it, be that a failing of recruitment or injury. I don't buy that. I think if you scan your squad and change your philosophy that easily, it creates muddled thinking at every level of the club. It might seem like suicide at times, but at least Ange has a clear identity that never changes, no matter who is or isn't available at Spurs. That creates a clarity of vision, a real direction in terms of recruitment. ETH has been playing counter attacking football all year so how does that inform the recruitment team. Buy players to suit counter attacking even though it's not the way you ultimately want to play? He's a victim of his own flexibility. He's had enough time and money to spend well and he hasn't. I just don't think he's a dominant enough character to turn that ship around. He's bent at the knee to too many people ill-equipped to guide the club in the right direction. He needed to be more headstrong regarding his philosophy to force the board's hand a little more. Instead you have this foggy thinking from top to bottom.
He does need to go but the issue is about who the club want to bring in and are we set up yet the bring in a manager who suits the clubs needs.
I also think EtH deserves to stay until the end of the season and manage the final, he got us there.

You're definitely right about an attitude problem. For a good 20 years that class of 92, led by Eric Harrison at youth level, maintained the importance of standards, attitude and work ethic. All the time those lads were there, standards weren't allowed to drop. They all retired at a similar time which I think accounts for the drop off just as much as SAF leaving. Players like Pogba came in and there was an attitude shift that just hasn't gone away. Now, there are a thousand Pogba's stinking out the place. They all play the blame game, hands up in the air, screaming "it's not my fault". Antony's behaviour last night after the final whistle, hand over mouth, clearly bitching about someone, a player or manager, was a disgrace. Carragher was right. Get down the feckin tunnel and hold your head in shame. Antony has no right to be calling anyone out after that performance. I worry for Mainoo's progress learning from the very worst, even though I'm not a United fan, for England's sake.
The problems are definitely deeper than ETH but he's still part of the problem in my eyes.
He will be gone in the summer, but that’s the easy bit

High pressing football with Casemiro, Maguire, Evans, Rashford, Wan Bassaka at left back? Yeah that's not going to work.
I wouldn't even be looking at the manager here. If he wants to completely change the system then time is required to get rid of those who can't/refuse to buy into and get the required players in.
Sat nav
As I said before, only 3 players (AWB, Dalot and Garnacho) in last night's starting XI were in the first team before EtH joined. So while I agree we need to move on players and create a better environment it isn't just the players that are creating this poor environment, it's rotten from the core.
Has he done his best? He just does the same thing every week. He doesn't change anything.
Last night he had the perfect excuse to play Amrabat Mainoo in CM and park the bus. Fans would have understood with 7 defenders missing as well as Rashford Bruno Mctominay.
He didn't do it. He stuck by his beliefs and we got hammered 4-0.
Is this is him doing his best then we really are finished. Sometimes you have to change tactics to cope with the cards that are dealt to you. Playing open expansive football when your entire defence is missing is just unforgivable.
Get rid. Do it now. He doesn't deserve the honour of walking out at Wembley again for me. Let Fletcher take the last 4 games.
I'm sorry, but if there was ever a manager who was not ready for England, let alone Man Utd it's him. United have no patterns of play, defend terribly, have -under his recommendatios - signed badly and just depend on the individual flair of some very good players to win games. With some of the players you have, and you have some top players (maybe not as many as your fans think), you should be challenging for that 4th spot. This is his second season and there has been absolutely no improvement. Obviously, as a non-United fan, I enjoy your demisr, but I don't delight in it. You need a coach with an identifiable style of play, you need to support him, back him and have patience. United are too good, too big for this!

Have you got bi-polar? You literally just said you'd understand if he was given the boot. Now he's not going anywhere. Which is it?
There are people in straight jackets less confused than you are mate.

Read the next comment he made. Timed to perfection. He hasn't helped you out there has he? 😂
I don't need him to change his mind. He already knows I am right. He's going to carry on fighting out of stubborness.
He should have gone after we finished bottom of a CL group containing Copenhagen and Galatasaray. Unforgivable. He was saved because of the Glazers unable to do a deal on time with Jim.

Why on earth would I need someone to help me out.
There really is something wrong with how your brain works.
