I don’t think anyone is justifying anything, and I also don’t think it’s a particularly complicated issue. Iran wants to wipe Israel from existence and Israel don’t care what collateral damage they cause in order to prevent this, whilst also pursuing their own agendas of land grabbing. If you want to feel superior by accusing others of being simplistic then crack on, but the truth is it is a pretty straightforward scenario.
But if you think the numbers alone can show you who the aggressor is and who’s at fault then I’d say that you’re being way too simplistic, and that you’re actually more biased than you realise.

I would in no way claim to be any sort of expert or have great insight into the whole conflict.
As a simple observer, I think you need those involved to want a peaceful and compromised outcome which doesn't involve annihilating the other party/s - but those involved don't seem to want that, so you just go round in circles.

My wife is Pakistani and her family have quite strong views towards this whole situation. Some of their views make me slightly uncomfortable but here we are. I don't think Muslims will ever like Jews, just because they're Jews and there is a lot of history there between the two.

I support Gaza on the basis that Israel are like that big dude who's beating the sh!t out of the little dude, but doesn't stop after he's knocked out, he just keeps pummeling him into the ground. What they're doing is facked.
To "support" Gaza, my wife, me and her family don't buy any products that are produced or owned by Israeli's and you'd be feckn surprised how much stuff they own that we consume on a daily basis.

There just seems to be no space for discussion on the internet.
This is a conflict going back generations and it’s boiled down to simplistic absolutes. If someone shows support for Israel then they’re Zionists; if someone shows support for Palestinians then they’re antisemitic. And if you’re unfortunate enough to show support for both sides in different respects then both sides attack!
It’s a great shame imo because it means that a lot of people avoid talking about the conflict. And if you don’t talk about it, it’s easier to ignore. And that’s the one thing the world really shouldn’t be doing right now.

I would in no way claim to be any sort of expert or have great insight into the whole conflict.
As a simple observer, I think you need those involved to want a peaceful and compromised outcome which doesn't involve annihilating the other party/s - but those involved don't seem to want that, so you just go round in circles.

Yeah, trying to see both sides is the greatest crime of all it seems. Tbf, apart from the obvious trolls, I’ve not seen anyone showing outright support for what Israel are doing, but I only dip in and out of these articles. Then usually regret doing so…..

My wife is Pakistani and her family have quite strong views towards this whole situation. Some of their views make me slightly uncomfortable but here we are. I don't think Muslims will ever like Jews, just because they're Jews and there is a lot of history there between the two.
I'm white myself, i do not agree with what Israel are doing at all.
I support Gaza on the basis that Israel are like that big dude who's beating the sh!t out of the little dude, but doesn't stop after he's knocked out, he just keeps pummeling him into the ground. What they're doing is facked.
To "support" Gaza, my wife, me and her family don't buy any products that are produced or owned by Israeli's and you'd be feckn surprised how much stuff they own that we consume on a daily basis.
Has it made a difference? Clearly not, but not sure what else the average person has the ability to do.
