Mafiaboy..................What a sad person lacking in any knowledge how the real world operates!!

Spurs run MANY local activities within the Tottenham, Enfield & Haringey area's.............supporting initiatives set up by both the Local Authority & Central Government.

The rates and revenue to local services run into several millions each year.

West Ham were set to receive a loan of £40m from Newham for the OS? Where was your petition or complaint about a private company (Adult services industry owners) receiving public money?

Pot ,Kettle Black????????

Oh.. greasy, this petition is set up after you went to court and OPLC cancel all the bids.

This e-petition is set up when the Mayor offered you a big cheque apparent/ambiguous bungs to develop Tottenham.

You are the one to look for the answer to 'pot, kettle, and black'..

mafia................................you are still in line for the loan from Newham

You cannot afford to do the modifications on Stadium without the Newham or the OPLC grant

Spurs applied for funding under the Government Regeneration Scheme which is specifically there to help private companies regenerate their immedite surrounds.

The Spurs NPD will create over 350 new jobs, increase revenue streams into both the local economy and into Haringey Borough treasury department, as well as smarten up a dismal surrounds. Looks like win, win all the way around.

The Mayor was responding to concerns raised by the Tottenham Chamber of Commerce about implications of Spurs moving away from the immediate area and its impact on local businesses and economy.

As for your attempt to suggest it was a bung, this is obviously as stupid as your petition. The whole premise of a bung is that it is done surreptiously and behind closed doors. The Mayor & Spurs have done everything regarding the Regenaration Fund completely within the public domain!!

Greaves, How could West Ham will depend or ask loan from Newham even after the complaint made by some stupid in European Court?

No one knows what is in West Ham's bid. But, we certainly know that we only take this seating if there would be serious altercations to the stadium.

Yes, just giving some funds to develop in and around the WHL area. And don't forget you can still sell those nice flats in around the stadium for few quid.

Mafiaboy.................................West Ham's lease is going to be in conjunction with Newham Council, otherwise they would not be able to lend you the money legally. By the way you talk in your petition post about local services funding etc, Newham are possibly the poorest Borough in the country & you say nothing about them being willing to lend £40m to West Ham!!

The complaint in the European Court was in regard to the integrity of the Awarding Process and the guidelines being changed after the applications deadline was past.

As the original Invitation to Tender was advertised in OJEC (European Contracts Journal) any complaints re its integrity etc had to be appealed with the European Courts.

So you also raised the flats issue with Arsenal then? They received grants enabling them to build The Emirates & everyone agrees that the area is much better and that Arsenal FC have done an excellent job in enhancing the Highbury area.

This is the old news. How times we should prove Arsenal FC HAVEN'T received any public funds comparing to Spurs'.

Let's hope you put down the first brick for your stadium with all the support.

Dont you think your petition will reach the 100,000 & stop the new build then?

posted on 24/5/12

Chicken, you are talking balls again..

This e-petition is for to stop public funds to THFC plc.

posted on 24/5/12

Exactly, but where is your 100,000 signatures you were campaigning for?

posted on 24/5/12

I never claim this e-petition would reach 100k.

You are missing the point here. If Tottenham gets FREE gifts then every club in the country will not hesitate to ask their quota of FREE gifts from this shamble govt and we all know it's not possible. Then we all know what will happen......

We are not against spending... we are against FREE gifts..

But its okay if West Ham get a stadium for next to nothing though??

If West Ham don't get that stadium then it will be some more burden to tax payers to maintain it.

By the way as the deadline for the 100,000 signatures expires on the 5th September, how are you going to lift the monthly average to just over 30,000 to meet the qualifying number?
