Which bit?

I have heard ENIC want to sell for £500m - I guess that bits ridiculous.

Your ground is not that big and you have little to no global fanbase. In fact little to no fanbase. Why is that so ridiculous.

There is no shame in being one of the worlds better run but smaller clubs. Everyone respects Swansea after all.

Robbing - Why on earth should i enter into a debate with someone who clearly does not want to talk football, yet wants to just air his dislike of Spurs?

We should definitely get him if there's a chance Just as Adebayor is a step up from Crouch, Villa is a step up from Ade.

Erm, someone asked why you don't pay high wages and I gave a perfactly reasonable answer. Low self-esteem by any chance.

Google says you have max 20m world wide which is paultry compared to plenty of big clubs.

Its been well known here in the Valencia region, certainly, that Villa has never wanted to leave Spain...hence he has not thus far....
---

That's true - but that was before he'd played for either Madrid or Barça, which is essentially the pinnacle of club football for any Spaniard. Now he's fulfilled that ambition, I think it's a lot more likely for him to consider moving abroad.

Plus, the perceived 'failure' at Barça could always be disguised as a 'wish to try out new experiences'.

Hoody, ENIC I presume is Spurs' holding company? Sorry, but living in Spain I'm not that familiar with the ins and outs of PL club ownership.

Are there any plans for Spurs to build a new stadium to replace WHL?

As for int'l fanbase, that will come with the scenery as it has done for CFC and will do for City once they are more firmly established on the CL scene and attract more marketable players imo.

In what way is making sly digs at Spurs giving a "perfectly reasonable reason"? Please tell

Best off asking Spurs fans really but they failed in the bid for the Olympic stadium but now it's up for grabs again or something.

I agree but it takes a long long time. Chelsea have a good few in Africa but you won't see many shirts elsewhere.

Where was the sly dig? There was not one. May I recommend positive affirmations around your home if you self-esteem leads you to be so paranoid?

"I have heard ENIC want to sell for £500m - I guess that bits ridiculous."

There has been a time-old blah blah that Joe Lews (majority shareholder in ENIC and hence Spurs) would attempt to sell up at that price.

As for Levy (effective 25% shareholder in THFC PLC) , not so sure.

As for "massive fanbase worldwide" , we had this with Chelsky.
No one has delivered definitive data to show that these mystics make any serious material contribution to the bottom line wrt to those who pay to attend home games.

You sound bored Robbing, why dont you go elsewhere and try and find another alternative to trying to wind strangers up over the internet, to which you are failing miserably might i add

Robbing_ Hoody

Stop talking rubbish you muppet

Fan base is about real fans , not a bunch of plastics in Africa who will never even buy a club shirt and just support the team at the top
Man city no doubt will soon have a world wide fan base even though no one had heard of them 3 yrs ago
Spurs have afar bigger fan base than most clubs and every where you go in the world you meet real spurs fans , not a load of glory hunting plastics

so shove that up your Ar-se idiot

Idiot post of the day goes to wearethefamousthfc1882 (U10288)

If you cared about your club you'd recognise what a worldwide fanbase does for your club in generating income. So for the so-called "real fans" you talk about to see good players come to your club, it wouldn't be entirely possible without this revenue.

Okay - seeing as you have no definitive data so actually cannot prove me wrong - why don't Spurs pay big wages.

You may use my previous post if it helps!
