Nah because James is suspended
But no, it'll be one or the other. As we're in Europe we'll need the whole squad to be available this season
Thanks for reminding me of his 4 match suspension
Man, so many of our players are either permanently injured, or stupid. In the case of James it’s both. The. We’ve got a bunch we significantly overpaid for.
I think Palmer's price is fair. He's a goalscoring midfielder who who scores loads of goals, gets loads of assists and is an ice cold pen taker. Surprised he's not a bit more expensive tbh. Last season's very low price is because he was a relative unknown. It was always going to go up massively this season, he's one of the very best players in the PL now.

Question is though how nthe new manager will deploy him. Poch gave him a free role with no obvious defensive responsibilities. Also, clubs will be trying tactically to stop him this season.
Looks like Vieira is leaving Strasbourg. By “mutual consent”.
Wonder if it’ll be Lampard or Terry who takes over
So Osimhen to PSG = Lukaku to Napoli
Kepa to some Saudi club and Sarr to Lens.
Looking good.

Nkunku is 6.5 and classified as a midfielder
Tempting, even tho he’ll probably get injured straight away
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes it's good value tbf.

I did entertain the idea...
Great value if the cant can stay fit for more than five minutes

he has alreddy had too stoo pre-season trainin twice in a week with muscle ishoes
think that y EPL clubs aint bean too enthusiastic.

Rodri Odegaard Foden Palms Mainoo
Not seen Mainoo play for United tbh. Is he a point getter?
Kante back in the premier league potentially, West Ham interested

Think we've got decent cover at CB but it lacks experience/leader as we haven't replaced Silva

Well, using Palmer as an example, he obviously poses a huge threat with his running, passing and ball striking. But it was Palmer who also gave the ball away on the halfway line for Yamals big chance at around 80ish minutes. Southgate knows he has that in him, which is why I think he prefers him as a sub.
That's not a dig at Palmer, he's still a young lad with just the one season under his belt, it's natural.
However, I personally wouldn't have minded if Palmer came in for Foden as he just wasn't doing anything for the majority of the tournament. He wasn't giving it away in bad areas, but he also wasn't contributing much the other end.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
foden, bellingham and especially rice gave it away several times throughout the tournament...
So the point doesn't have much merit. If people were playing well and keeping the ball well then i'd understand your point.
But palmer does that no more than those other players and also scored and nearly had an assist from the corner (probably our best delivery of the tournament). There's no risk for him to have played so little. Same goes for Gordon, Eze, watkins or toney
