It would have been much better to put up a video or set up a TV response. Feel written apologies on twitter have a sense of anonymity even when they are clearly official posts.

We're probably better without Enzo anyway. Caicedo was so much better in the side when Enzo didn't play and he was allowed to get forward and get more involved in the opponent's half. And we've bought the likes of Dewsbury-Hall who are going to be much more suited to this Maresca side than chubby, slow Enzo.

It’s a sweeping generalisation but South America in general is bad on a lot of social issues.

Not defending Enzo, but just saying clubs are businesses.

If the blowback is so bad it makes sense to sell (and someone is prepared to buy) then maybe but more likely it'll be damage control and rehabilitation.

I don't believe Terry did anything wrong. And in a Chelsea team full of black players who all loved him and with Drogba standing near to him as I recall I don't think for one second Terry shouted out "you black c*nt".

The main difference is Enzo deliberately live-streamed himself saying that stuff to the whole world. He didn’t see anything to be ashamed of.

With Terry, if he did say that, you can at least give the argument that it was a more private thing that he thought in a moment of frustration and not as intentional.

Terry so obviously said "you blind c*nt" to Anton as they were arguing about an incident on the pitch. Saying "black c*nt" to him makes zero sense in the context of the incident, especially as JT was surrounded by black Chelsea players. Honestly can't believe anyone would think JT would shout that out.

The only dispute was the reason he said it and even thee judge who let him off said his excuse was strange

Honestly, I just think in 2011 players we're going lot more tribal on the idea of racism. They just said "It's everywhere" so back your team mate.

I agree totally. My point is clubs are businesses means they'll come down on Enzo like a ton of bricks but actually selling him is something they'd be very reluctant to do
