Sums up why we never win fck all tbh. We tried to shoehorn a team with Foden, Bellingham and Kane either all getting in each other's way or having no chemistry at all. If not for a very kind draw I doubt we'd have got much further than the second round.

I am not sure if your comment is a joke, but imo Pickford just kept kicking long, giving the ball back to Spain almost every time. That kept the pressure on our outfield players. We have to be good enough to play out of the back if we want to beathigh pressing possession based teams like Spain.

Cucurella is a terrible defender but in possession he’s excellent. I think if he was at City he’d be regarded as one of the best FB’s in football.

Haha this is even worse than Hansen's you don't win anything with kids comment. Gary Neville's problem is that he thinks he knows everything about football. I guarantee he paid no attention to Cucurella's massively improved performances for Chelsea in the second half of season .

Love what I'm seeing here. Can't remember the last time I saw a Chelsea head coach working this hard with the players in training.

Not saying this is going to translate into success on the pitch necessarily but you can't fault the effort and work being put in here. This looks and feels very different to the frankly less impressive training sessions I watched last season

Hopefully we sign Nico Williams and a decent striker because the signings so far are meh
