Chelsea for all their spending have no plan B if their passing game doesn't work, Newcastle and Liverpool have Europe to contend with on limited squads.

RVP to fire United to the title.

You'd stake your life savings on Tottenham getting 4th ahead of Arsenal?

I originally predicted Liverpool to finish forth but with Carroll going out on loan and no replacement signed I think sixth is the best we can get. Although if our players gel into the system and Suarez learns how to play the main striker role, holding the ball in attack and letting the wide forwards and/or midfield join, then we could scrape forth. It's a big if and why I've now gone for sixth.

Top two will be City and United, in what order, fk knows.

Third - Chelsea.

4th - 7th is anyone's guess between Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea. I think we may scrape 4th by the skin of our teeth, but it all depends on how we cope with injuries and how many we get. If the past few years are anything to go by, then it will be an arduous task getting 4th because I don't think we've strengthened significantly and the lack of quality in squad depth is frightening.

I'm pinning my hopes on winning a trophy this season in case we have a poor domestic campaign.

But either way, I can't say I'm looking forward to the rest of the season...

Fergie will retire in May, he don't put the fear of God into his players like he used to and that's why they won't win the title.

Dubbed

Were you stoned last night? You made some bizarre ramblings....

Anyway, I'm just expecting the worst, but I'm still angry with the club for poor preparation and I just don't think we're that good this season. That's down to the players to prove me wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if we finished 7th. I always prepare for the worst...

No. I was perfectly fine.
Think that was my way of dealing with the lack of signings.

If you look at the challengers for 4th you have

liverpool - do I need to say?
tottenham - they have no backup wingers and their 2nd string midfield is parker jenas and livermore
newcastle - already showing they struggle with the distraction from europa

I'd be surprised if Arsenal fell out
