Pah. All this talk of massive collapse and letting someone else win the league. I'll see you massive collapse, and raise it by 22 years.

City will be too strong for the rest, but won't walk it. They will definitely improve, but I think the one signing that won't happen is the most glaringly needed - a new manager.
I think Chelsea's new manager will get them out of their rut in the new year and although it will be enough to see them clear of the chasing pack, it won't be enough to catch United in 2nd.
I think there is a rizla between us and Arsenal, as there was last year. Both of us are losing our best player, but have strengthened elsewhere - Arsenal have a more diverse strikeforce than last year, which will leave them less reliant on one man, and we have signed another goalscoring midfielder and have Vertonghen and Caulker in place of the injury-hit, shadow-of-himself King. Both of us have an essential CM back too - Wilshere and Huddlestone.
The signing aren't finished yet though by a long way, and that will go a long way to deciding who finishes higher - if we just sign Adebayor and another striker, and Arsenal buy this Cazorla chap (assuming he fits in well), I see it being very tight.
I can't see Newcastle having as good a season as before as people will be a bit wiser to them and the expectation is there with the fans now. Ditto Liverpool, 6th and 7th for them.
the expectation is there with the fans now.
It isn't really. People keep saying that but no one is expecting 4th place. We'd be more than happy with 6th/7th and a good cup/Europa run
>>I can't see Newcastle having as good a season as before as people will be a bit wiser to them and the expectation is there with the fans now. Ditto Liverpool
are you implying Liverpool overperformed last season?
really?
Newcastle will be 4th/5th, it's arrogant to write them off because people think they had one flukey season or something. I've seen Liverpool fans thinking they'll fall down the table, really Liverpool?! Pardew is a quality manager, and he's got a quality squad as well. They're going to get Debuchy soon too!
Newcastle will flop this season imo.

Wrong phrase - I simply meant that Liverpool will be at Newcastle's level in 6th/7th
HRH, I guessed that, but it didn't read that way
I don't think Liverpool underperformed either last season to be honest, I think they finished roughly where their squad/first team should do. Newcastle overperformed a little - their squad wasn't that strong, although their first XI is much better than Liverpool's

That's what i get for not reading it back after typing! I just assumed I'd said Newcastle would finish 6th or 7th previous to that, hence ditto Liverpool

Will be between united and city,
Have a feeling that, Robbie will struggle to find best team without leaving out key players
2nd, 3rd, 4th will be up for grabs,
Just wish we still had makelele, a 2006 essien or ballack, then its ours to loose
Sorry meant, 3rd, 4th will be up for grabs
Yeah legendosgood
Would love to have a midfield enforcer in our team just like Ballack or Essien. Fellaini maybe?
City
United
Newcastle

No Arsenal there even after the impending signing of Cazorla?
