I honestly have no idea what the price of salt is.
You buy it once every two years and just throw it in the trolly without looking at the price.
fiver a kg? 3?
7?

"Your 19 year old professor example features both the professor and a student in the same teaching / learning environment at the time."
______________
What's that got to do with the price of salt?
----------
Someone said that a professor of a younger age can still teach an older person, I said that in he analogy they had used the teacher and the student were in the same environment at the same time.
Robbing,
Did not get decent coaching until I moved to Nottingham so that really held me back
=====================
I was very fortunate that i played with Bradley Allen, son of Les Allen, brother of Clive, cousin of Paul, so i go very good coaching, quite early - and not just from screaming Dad's on the touchline.
Another big influence on my life, in general - not just football, was Pat Holland. Pat was youth team coach when i was on Leyton Orient's books at 14/15. I kind of fell out with football, and if i'm honest, the pressure got a bit too much & i turned my back on it & quit. Pat gave me his personal number & said if i ever changed my mind, i should call him. But i think i might have left it a bit late now.........now where did i put that number....
Vidicschin,
He was sought over by both you and Spurs, so Chicken really does have the upper hand here.

Exactly

Tevez was a nightmare. Wanting to leave, not playing when asked.
=======================
Yeah once . And the comparison was more about the fall out between player & manager. It happens, even with the best.
And i'm pleased we agree that £7m was a bargain.
Would've been... But spurs paid 8m. About 15% more.
Okay...£8m then. <tut_smiley>
i think spurs will struggle a bit this year, still think you'll finish around 5th-7th but will be off the pace for champs league

I agree. But i think this is more to do with our shat appointment of AVB, rather than our playing clientel.
" He was signing for Seansea ffs, a newly promoted team from Wales. It was only then that you showed interest. And now you think he some sort of class player."

FatJan
That comment could just as easily apply to Allen - just swap signing for playing
Still, he must be better because he cost more.. and so many top clubs were trying to outbid you

That comment could just as easily apply to Allen
====================
Exactly.
Only FatJan would mock a player's previous club after your own club has just paid out £15m to the very same one.
I'm not convinced by AVB atall.
I just read through the last few comments and saw your AVB comment.
Ruiney
A well structured salient point which gets to the crux of the matter succinctly.
Don't think AVB is convinced by himself either.
AVB does wear lovely jackets though, better than Wenger's sleeping bag.

I don't get Arsene, do you think he asked for that massive coat?
'Would you like any official Arsenal gear this season Arsene?'
'Yes, I would like a coat made that comes down to my ankles'
'...OK'
