3must. Your concern for the reputation of our club is touching, though getting a little tedious if I'm being honest....

Also the OTT people should be careful what they wish for, especially Liverpool fans.

Rival fans, well let me tell you a story, once upon a time, I was glad to see the back of Ronaldo, the diving but mainly the circus surrounding him. Fast forward a few months and I realised the league had lost the excitement he brought, strangely I began to miss him. I hate the guy, I hate how up himself he seems, he's feigning injury and most of all how good he was for United, however, I'd have him back in the league in a heart beat.

When the league has players of his quality, players are attracted to the league, no matter what club he plays for. The league then becomes better and thus teams from here become better in Europe. It happened in the 90s in Italy, they got all the best players, then in England in the 00's and now in Spain. The best players like to put themselves up against the best.

Yep. I miss watching Ronaldo too, week in week out, over here in the PL. Can stil watch him play in La Liga but its not the same.

And if he had worn the Red of Liverpool you would of adored him, just as we would adore Suarez if he wore the Red of Utd

Exactly, however Suarez has went one too far this time and now adore is too strong a word. I no longer adore him, I now see him simply as one of the best players in the world that we can't afford to lose. That's me thinking selfishly, for my club. If he was any other player, I'd want him out.

Terminator,

Sorry you find it tedious mate, I'm just trying to establish boundaries and the level of morals fellow fans have. So far no one can tell me where they would draw the line - i.e. what has Suarez got to do to be unfit to wear the shirt? Attacking a team mate? A Keane/Haaland challenge? Assaulting a ref? Doping? How about off the field - DUI? Biting someone in the street? Rape? Manslaughter? There has to be a line somewhere, I'm just wondering where you draw it and how low you are willing to see the club sink to retain a player of Suarezs calibre?

Would you calm down. Suarez has done nothing not seen in football. Can't remember players being sold for minimal stuff.

Also it would do NO GOOD anyone if we sold him. The most important thing is football is winning (not behaviour) and without Suarez we're less likely to do so.

Wow.

I have not seen one person, not one, condone or deny what Suarez did

Have you got sky? A fat purple faced RS supporter wanted to see the bite mark before he'd believe it.

Very true, if you look at the players SAF has let go,some that seemed controversial at the time, if any of those players with the exception of Ronaldo which seemed good buisness at the time, if any of those players where like Suarez invaluable to the team i doubt very much he would of moved them on.

There's something called CONTRACT. Certain actions result to BREACH of contract (like using drugs) and automatic sacking. It's nothing to do with morality.

If you want to talk about morality then go look at players that look for corners after blatantly kicking the ball out

Then shouldn't you be out there addressing the person? Do you feel happier coming here to celebrate it?

United are in a position whereby they can sell anyone and replace him with basically the same quality...Ronaldo aside. We are nowhere near that, so it just won't happen.

What about Suarez faking injury when he realised what he'd done.

posted on 22/4/13

So Alas, why did you one star this article? Are you not happy that Liverpool fans are in fact not condoning and in fact appalled by Suarez' behaviour? You wanted us to defend him, didn't you?

posted on 22/4/13

And how do you know he was faking it?

Exactly TOOR, this Alassmith guy is wound up Liverpool fans are not condoning/defending the action.

posted on 22/4/13

His sponsors also don't condone his actions but in a business sense will stick by him. They obviously value the good advertising he can bring in, over the bad, it's obviously more.

1403:
SUAREZ
A statement from Luis Suarez's boot sponsor says: "Adidas takes this type of incident very seriously and does not condone Luis Suarez's behaviour. We will be reminding him of the standards we expect from our players.

"Luis has admitted his actions were unacceptable and we support the way Liverpool are planning to handle the situation."

-______

Great question, like TOOR said any other player he would them gone, but when you have a player like Suarez it would be easier to cut him some slack unlike a player who just made up the squad.

------------------------------
Without a doubt, there are a few idiots who are fuming that Liverpool fans aren't defending it, some even going as far to say that they are, so they can be outraged by it. It's pathetic. However just like we've always said, we'll defend him when the evidence isn't there. We stayed true to our word when we don't defend him when the evidence is there.

3must. Honestly? I'm not going to lose any sleep over anything he does on the pitch. You may not like that, but the rules are in place and anything he does will get dealt with accordingly. I'm not saying I condone the things he does, I don't, as I've already stated. But nothing he's done compels me to want him out of the club.

As for off the pitch, to my knowledge, his behaviour is impeccable, which lets face it, is where it really matters, where the real person shows through.

{honestlivpool~five~times}

You're wrong. Breaching a contract doesn't mean you are automatically sacked, it means the party you entered into the contract with can terminate that contract without facing action should they see fit. Morality, in fact, can play quite a part when weighing up the options to terminate a contract - especially if an anticipatory or fundamental breach is committed and the aggrieved party do not terminate the contract.

Terminator,

Funny, my 6 year old son only ever sees him ON the pitch, this is where the real person shows through.
