I think Costa is the only top rated striker other than Suarez who hasn't made the 'big' move to a title and CL favourite side
I refuse to step on Emenalo's toes
I don't think we'll get a 'top striker' in January.
I fear we're stuck with the same 3 misfiring donkeys we currently have.

I'll go with Jose on this one who has said in 4 separate interviews that he won't sign a striker.
And in 2 others he's said we won't be signing or selling anyone either.

And you believe him when he says that ?
Cannot see Costa wanting to move this January. Not just because Atletico are in such a good position, but you have to consider his international ambitions. He won't want to risk his Spain squad place so soon after fighting his way into recognition after his nationalisation (or whatever it is called when a Brazilian can play for Spain.)
Jose isn't going to publicly admit that he is desperate for a striker.
You can tell he's getting fed up of our situation.
Mentioned a few weeks back, "If we had an Aguero or a Suarez, we'd be top of the league"
Whether he will get the funds or the players he wants is a different matter..

Frankie. perhaps not desparate, but i do think he's tried to publicly tell the club that we're lacking a striker.
I do think he wants one but i think his hands are tied.

Great start to this new relationship then if he has to tell the club through the media....

Yet City, who are a better team than Chelsea, do have Aguero and are not top.

By about 12 points already . Especially if we had Suarez.

Fortunately City's away form has been woeful this season otherwise they would be way ahead already.
Just all get down to the bookies and back City still at evens for the title.
No need to thank me

Hopefully there is good communication between Emenalo and Jose otherwise it won't work.
TCP I think it's been fairly obvious for a while that City will win this title. I would be very suprised if they didn't, especially with that squad and their invincibility at the Etihad.
Only thing that might stop them is their away form coming back to haunt them but I doubt that will happen.
Getting back to the article what about Dzecko? He can't be happy hardly ever playing.
He stated last season he had to play if he was going to stay at City and if anything he has played even less this season.
Not a team player imo. Which is what people had against Sturridge
So what are our other options? There are a few lesser known PL strikers I like the look of. Norwich's Gary Hooper is starting to look the part since his move from Celtic. Remember how well Hooper played at Celtic and he has Champions League experience.

Surely our most realistic option for good money would be lewandowski or martinez.
