Bluee, yep your description is pretty much that.
However, Fergie's adaptability has been a major factor of the United way, as far as I'm concerned, and that's very much based on what individuals we have.
Our football from 06-09 was very different from anything we've played under Fergie, and that's down to Fergie building the side around a player that we've not had in that class before or since.
I agree you can't simply replace those players, but that's exactly why I think he should have tried to carry on playing a similar way to what we did with Ronaldo, and by doing that we should have taken Robben off of Madrid when they wanted Ronaldo.
Rooney's regression hasn't helped, he forgot how to control a football and pass it to his team mates for about 4 years. This season is the first time in ages he's remembered how to do it.
I am not lying. I really enjoyed watching us play those games. You may disagree. but lying I am not.
I said to my friend that as soon as you got Jose Lamps would be straight back in the team.
I think he's one of the reasons your football has become so dull, and not having Mata, obviously.
and yet you stalk every page i comment on and cant but resist from replying each time.
what's that word your hero likes....oh yes....a 'voyeur'
He did two wonderful things - showcased Mata in all his glory. And CONSISTENTLY got the best out of Luiz, something no one else ever did.
Chelsea 3-1 Basel
Chelsea 2-0 Swansea
Chelsea 2-2 Spurs
Chelsea 2-1 Everton
Utd 2-2 Chelsea

I wasn't sad when Rafa left.
We started that season playing some brilliant football under Di Matteo and we never got close to playing anywhere near as good as that under Rafa.
Begs the question why Robbie was sacked because he would have got us top three and a cup at least. Especially when you realise how many cups we were in the running for last season.
Unfortunately for Robbie I think his fate was sealed after the Super Cup in a game where Falcao ass-raped our defense.
And you bi.. tch...I will feck you so hard that you will be scared to land back after doing
Darren, I agree.
I rate and appreciate all Lamps did, and I always defend him in great midfielder discussions becuase his achievements often get dismissed unfairly.
But he isnt right for the position he plays in our team at all.
I dont understand Jose's decision with Mata.
I don't see how Barkley is the solution, and yet every United fan seems to want him and Shaw
Rooney became a goalscorer. Thats a good and bad thing....even his flashes of brilliance like his overhead start with a rubbish bit of ball control by him earlier on in the move...
he used to play differently....I am convinced he was more a pace/flair player at the start.
Who remembers that amazing thread when Chelsea appointed Rafa?
United, Chelsea and Arsenal fans were all in unison laughing at the appointment while the scousers came on there saying that he'll win you the title and get to the cl semi final.

true about rdm.
but you forget we were in a serious spiral of form...
something we suffered under with Carlo in 2010, and then again with AVB in 2011,
I reckon the board panicked, besides RA clearly didnt like Di Matteo that much.
But give Rafa credit where due. Surely?
You didnt boo him at the ground did you?
Actually, Superb, good question, are you a season ticket holder?
Not asking to test your fan-ness...
rather I only get to go to 1 league match and a couple of cup games a season so I cant truly gage the Bridge opinion on most matters.

They've stopped pointing out Napoli are doing well on the Chelsea board
