Everton do but it's a bit pointless especially at this stage in the season. Getting low priced quality players and loan signings is all well and good but they need to get you somewhere. So far they are doing that for you guys as like us you are genuine top 4 contenders this season but that could all change in the next 20 odd games.

Apart from the CWC I have seen us lift every trophy in person.

A few final defeats thrown in for good measure. Was at Wembley last time we did win and it was sweet. Did you make the LC final?

Anyone can be a glory fan matey

Or are fans of clubs who dont win doing something pointless each week by turning up home and away (I dont go away)?

Metro

The irony of a bitter saying we've been 'sniffing the fingers of United'. Especially after one of them even said in this thread 'I'm off, the match is on' .

Seriously though. How do you define value for money? Surely you've got to have two ingredients. Money spent & achievement. So for the money spent what have Everton achieved for their frugal spending? Did I miss something?

Pressure seems to be mounting on Brendan if he fails to produce this season, especially if we continue our good form.

Transition excuse can't be used, lack of funds can't either,5 of the top 6 clubs from last season have changed manager and one of them twice already.

Everything has gone his way, even a 3 game winning run at the start and arch rivals Manchester United struggling so badly.

I imagine if Liverpool fail to win the FA cup and or fail to finish top 4 then questions will rightly be asked by your owners.

No wonder the tell tale signs of stress, the cold sore riddled lips are starting to become evident.

Brendan needs to prove he's a winner and not all pisss and wind. Will he prove it though

Bar the penultimate paragraph I'd agree with all of that.

Anyone when they don't like the answer somebody gives, not being from the city can roll out the glory fan line, afterall you do it everytime.

The simple fact is, for there to be value for money, you need an outcome. I think we can all agree that the outcome of winning trophies, is the best outcome in terms of value for money.

It's not my problem if you don't like the answer.

I think FSG will stick with Rodgers. Compare this season to last. Is that not progress?

Considering you believe you've got more value for money, won't their be more pressure on Martinez with this value for money he has?

Not sure how this got onto a comparison with United....

Rodgers being under pressure......

Trophies. ....

Or if United are playing.

But I notice Goggs has scored for Sunderland....is that as many goals Borini has for them?

Coutinho,

Don't you watch the game if it's Utd playing?

Easy, we talked about trophies being value for money and as usual, when Everton fans don't have anything to say back, they bring United into it. It's pathetic really.

Did it annoy you when Borini stopped you scoring? I thought it was hilarious, personally.

When I say that I agree with it I mean questions will be asked. If the question is why didn't you finish top four? and the answer is because we missed it by only a few points he's okay.

We have massive games at home and we're in good shape but we have to start winning games against top sides, You could argue that has started so far but if we don't the signings can be questioned and with one year left it would not be unheard of to let the manager go.

I don't think they will but either way if we keep up the 2013 form then it won't even be in question.

What's also funny is that throughout this season Liverpool fans on this board have been praising Everton, their players, their manager and their style of play and direction, yet the same courtesy can't be afforded due to us having better value for money, with the trophies, which has bred bitterness.
