You seem to be suggesting as Friday is before the weekend Rogers was the first they asked.

As the interview was held in Miami are you seriously suggesting they asked Rogers first on Friday....then rang Martinez on the Saturday morning?
And he got to Miami the same day?

So what if Martinez was our first choice. We are 11 points better off this season compared to your 5 point better off, scored the most goals last year entertaining in pretty much every match we have win or lose and are above you in the league with better infrastructure and more money.

Also having interviewed umpteem people myself and spent years in recruitment in the past you have to be a complete doofus to think that you interview people in order of preference. Seriously - have a word with yourself.

You are 11 points better off compared to last season because you had the worse start in almost a century under Brendan due to your annual 'bedding in period'.

We are 5 points better off so are showing improvement despite our transition period.

So I dunno what your point is there.

Pretty sure I'm slating both but one is an instigator.

My point is that we are 11 points better off. How we get there I do not care but we are above you, score more goals, play better football and actually own our best players.

Martinez suits Everton, Brendan suits Liverpool.

That's all there is to it.

If you are 11 points better off now compared to last season but 3 points worse off than 2 seasons before it means alot.

It means that last season's start was a disaster and shouldn't be used as a reference point to judge this season by.

A point in it in your favour but by 6pm on Sunday it could be all different and you wouldn't be quite so cocky then.

Our best player is Ross Barkley whom we own 100%

Dont know how recruitment works outside of my bubble. But I contact Universities and Eng Recruitment agencies when looking for new staff/graduates.

I then filter through the lists and select the one we reall want and two/three just as qualified just in case
Almost always it is my first pick that gets it if I interview them first is a matter of timing.

As Naismith plaus the iverted false 9 he never plays up front, rather a position on the pitch that has yet to be defined. He has however secured three points against Chelsea and he cost £60, 000 LESS than a Seamus Coleman.

Contacting them and interviewing them depends on all concerned being available.Being the first contacted or first interviewed means nothing.

Some may not be easily contactable and some may not be available for interview immediately
