This is a poor WUM from the OP. 1 from me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Top trending article for the day dammit
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And THAT is embarressing, for both sets of fans.
Given the support they gave yesterday, i think the fans got the least they deserved from the players with the lap at the end.
The squad needed to get themselves fired up and get the confidence back. Making a big deal (bigger than it was in reality) out of beating Liverpool is a good artificial way of raising confidence.
We've got other competitions to worry about, so we need all the extra energy we can get.
Maybe they were just on the lookout for Giroud's next conquest
So, who will answer the question?
Who should have been beating Arsenal to a top 4 finish in recent seasons?

Seriously though...if no-one could pick up the tongue-in-cheek nature of the OP...something is definitely wrong
Well we keep getting told by Spurs fans that they are better than us and have been for a few years. We were on a downward spiral etc, couple of home wins for them meant they were the better team.
Liverpool think they are better than most anyways so that's a given.

Teams who have spent more than us? Teams the media tipped to finish ahead of us? Teams without european football to tire them out?

Since when did European football tire people out? It's te same teams each year who then keep qualifying for Europe.

Swansea?
Chelsea when they won the CL? They came 6th.
So you've got 2 examples and I've got 100's. Kudos.
100s of example of what where?
You say it's the same teams every year. So why aren't Liverpool still in the CL?

Hundreds of examples proving the opposite. Chelsea got to a European final last year and Arsenal went out early, again, so how come they finished above you? Why wasn't European football tiring chelsea out then?
Yet another excuse from the professional failures.

Because Chelsea were a better football team than Arsenal last season.
Why did Arsenal finish above Liverpool last season and why are we above you in the league and in more competitions than you this season?

Now you're contradicting yourself. Is it about tiredness or not? Arsenal finished above us because you have better players in a team that has been built over decades. Nothing to do with tiredness. You don't get anywhere in Europe anyway, or the cups, I can't even remember when you last played more than 50 games. Decent club. Terrible fans.

------
You've had stability at your club whereas Rodgers has only been at Liverpool for a season and a half.
We've made great strides and despite that stability and upheaval at Liverpool, there isn't that much if anything, between the two sides.
I have always said, and many arsenal fans will know, that Wenger is a competitive advantage for Arsenal due to his experience in football and the Premier League. You cannot buy that kind of know how.
Stability can manifest into stagnation though. I'm sure someone on this article was saying Wenger is holding us back
I'm not doubting Liverpool's progress. I enjoy watching you play (aside from against us ) and actually want you to finish second behind us
If you set aside our stupid argument, can you honestly not see why our players celebrated the way they did yesterday?
We've got a deathmatch on wednesday - We had to generate confidence from somewhere, and given that it wasn't the most convincing performance, we've made more out of it than maybe we should have.
Might not look so silly if we get a result on Wednesday.
Well it did stand up to being ridiculed due to the way the match was decided, suppose you have to celebrate when you can.
