Of course, just like last season, we were humble in defeat vs Bayern. We were able to acknowledge when we have been beaten by a better team. Just like we did a week ago. Shame Liverpool fans can't do the same
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The difference being that your performace last week was execrable. Even the most deluded of Arsenal fans, of which there are many, couldn't take a positive from an embarrassing and humiliating performance. So humility was the order of the day. Yesterday however, the better team actually lost, so why are you expecting a Liverpool fans to to be humble and admit we were beaten by the better team when it was clear that wasn't the case. Yes you won the game, well done, you had two chances you finished them off, but there was an element of luck to your win. .
This all comes down to the fact that you have some real morons on your board, RGK, WNM for example, who we hear endless cr ap from all season, so it is unfortunately for you that there will be occasions where is going to be backlash from LIverpool fans. If your fans are willing to give it on here then they have to learn to take it.
I believe you were all dribbling with excitement in the summer about having this "racist" at your club. You all wet your collective panties and changed your screen names.
Silly fickles
Another season where Rodgers the dodger dodges a trophy.
Love the line he gave in an interview after the game. Rodgers added the FA Cup exit means Liverpool can "narrow" their focus to the Premier League title race.
Cliche after cliche but even he tried to avoid saying 'concentrating on the league',must have had 'narrow their focus' in mind when travelling down to London.Bet he got it from the book of quotations he carries around with him
"You all wet your collective panties and changed your screen names."

I would wager it was the same posters that have wound you up here since last night that did that.
They really know how to get to you guys, don't they?
Oh oh phillipa is here. You Arsenal fans want to see real bitterness and sour grapes, read phillpa's posts
Why should I be bitter fatjan?
After all we are in the FA cup and you aren't
his posts are both witty and intelligent
Come on lads this article is atrocious, should we not just take the positives from yesterdays performance and look to our league game v Swansea?
It was an even game overall, Arsenal were the better sid ein the 1st half and we were the better team in the 2nd half, they took their chances and we didn't. good cup tie, I was dissapointed but still enjoyed it.
All this article does is make us look pettey and bitter, move on.
For a kneerash you're not very irritating are you?

Bitterness in that post right there. Instead of just celebrating the fact Everton are in the FA Cup quarter final and have a very good chance of going all the way which would be great for your fans, you instantly make it about Liverpool and Everton, because you have this chip on your shoulder.

Years of applying cream will do that to ya!
Even trying to claim a penalty for Carzola kicking Srktel....must be thinking back to Pires V Portsmouth!
I hope Everton can win it from here. Can you imagine the Moyes bashing if Martinez walks in and wins them a trophy straight away & probably finishes above United in the League

You do not see it do you fatlad down to your very own bitterness.
You stated I was bitter and I merely replied to your bitter and personal unwarranted and unprovoked post and yet you say I'm the one with the chip on the shoulder.
I live next to the Emirates and the fans were celebrating into the night. Can you imagine what it will be like if they ever win a trophy again. I know that is far fetched with Wenger in charge but you never know
Am I missing something here? I thought the Liverpool/Everton thing was THE rivalry - yet quite a few on here seem to favour the blues winning over ManU or Arsenal? Not being funny, but are these 'out of town' Liverpool fans favouring cross city rivals over 'top of the league' rivals?

They have more points than Liverpool in the league and are also in 2 competitions more than Liverpool.
I'd say their chances of winning a trophy are far better than Liverpool's. Wouldn't you?
Arsenal get mocked for not winning anything for 9 years.....AND there's a pre-emptive ridicule of how we would celebrate winning a trophy when we do?
We REALLY fúcking annoy you don't we?

I'd suggest so. To be fair, though, speaking to a few Liverpool fans at Euston, the message seemed to be "you'd better stuff Everton now"
No, clearly you misunderstand the situation
Liverpool and Everton are very much together on certain things. That's why we can sit together at the same match and families have Reds & Blue's
We aren't mindless idiots that hate but aren't really sure why they hate...someone told them they should!

Fair enough, must admit the Liverpool/Everton rivally always seemed one of the more affable - but the last statement isn't entirely true going by some of the comments here - like most clubs you have plenty of 'mindless idiots' quite capable of hating for no reason other than the colour shirt someone wears.
should be a good cup tie arsenal v everton, im looking forward to it.
Everton worry me under Martinez.
Moyes' Everton at home was as close to a guaranteed win as it's possible to get.

Actually a lot of Liverpool fans, maybe even the majority would, if it cant be Liverpool, rather Everton win.
Friends / family being blues is one reason and the other is it ratchets up the competitive element and really makes the other team strive for further success
Ripley look at yourselves and Manchester United, it's almost the same thing, if you're benchmarking versus your successful inter city rivals it makes you go the extra distance.
The mindless idiots you refer to are not what I would call fans hence I wouldn't consider them part of the family
