When did you last watch it? The players over there are of better standard than you would realise. Yes, not in the same league as the top European brackets, but still better.
The better players in the league are capable of competing at Premier League level, which is some way from when Bradley Wright-Phillips was competing in League One for the likes of Charlton and Brentford.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have watched the Mexican league in the past and those Mexican teams like Chivas, Tigres, Monterey and club America always smashed the MLS teams in the CONACAF Champions League. They have a poor standard.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That doesn't mean to say the Mexican league is a poor standard though either just because it's outside of Europe.
MLS has improved massively over the last 10 years or so and I don't doubt there are many players there that would be able to play at PL level as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the level was as high as you’re suggesting then those players would be in Europe. You think the big clubs are put off by salaries? No chance, if they were good enough they’d be here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So by that rule then all the best players in each of their respective leagues would be at the top clubs as well then?
So Jack Grealish is at one of the best clubs in England because he's one of the best players in the league?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’s continually being linked to bigger clubs, there’s a high chance he will make that move in the near future. It’s a pretty bizarre comparison though as he’s already in the PL. Has nothing to do with your initial point.

The Mexican league is on par with the Dutch eredivisie but my point is the MLS is not up to the standard of most second divisions in most European countries.
The football there is very slow paced. They will produce good players in the future but those players will leave for the ESL if they are good enough.

Kouliably of Napoli was regarded as one of the best CB's alongside the likes of Van Djik and has been for years, which is understandable given he is a fantastic CB. He has been continually linked with all the top clubs for years, but yet he's still at Napoli.
Does that mean that Joe Gomez is the better defender because he is in a better team?

It might not necessarily fall off a cliff. Obviously it won't be the same, but it might still be enough to allow West Ham and Leicester to keep hold of their better players on big wages.
Just rebuild the product. Everybody has just been sitting on their arses collecting millions since 1992/93.

They have reached a level where they consistently get to the quarter finals of the CONCAF yeah.
So 10 years ago when only 1/2 teams were reaching the quarter finals, now 80-100% of sides are reaching the quarter final stages, therefore that is an improvement within itself.
There is nothing to say some of the players at that club cannot compete in the Premier League either just because we do not value anything outside of Europe to be as good as what we have when that's an inconclusive analysis anyway.

I dont believe that teams that rarely reach the semi finals of the CONCAF, which will be their best teams btw, play in a league that have lots of players capable of cutting it in the Premier League. Far from it in fact.

Just rebuild the product. Everybody has just been sitting on their arses collecting millions since 1992/93.

Their performances are as bang average as they've always been.

In fairness the performance by round tab on here shows a pretty decent improvement in the 12 or so years listed.

Oh God, it's so bitter. Players will get back home and their kits will be all thrown out on the front garden and a note on the fridge saying the dinner is in the dog or something next.

I dont believe that teams that rarely reach the semi finals of the CONCAF, which will be their best teams btw, play in a league that have lots of players capable of cutting it in the Premier League. Far from it in fact.

It's a start. The players will care more than FSG. Klopp is all about the fans too. Tumultuous times ahead.

This.
The majority of those players are not good enough. They run a lot but lack the technical level to play in the big leagues.

Well you don't have to believe it but that doesn't mean it isn't the case.
I'd say that Carlos Vela, Josef Martinez, Nicholas Lodeiro and Jonathan dos Santos, for example, all have the capabilities to play in the Premier League.
