Hopefully the club have learnt their lesson. Might sound weird but I reckon we'd have two or even three Prem titles and more success overall if Keita, Ox and Thiago had been replaced early on with more reliable players.

It will be good to see the back of some of the more injury prone players that’s been such a source of frustration during the Klopp era.

I assume AMA pretty much takes Thiago’s spot in the team now. We definitely need to look at some defensive minded options as others have said.

I’d still go out and break the bank for Tchouameni if it were me.

Moises Caicedo still yet to move though I wonder if we take another look later in the window.

We prob have a large list of potential targets, which we are serious about nobody knows. The Szoboszlai one came out of nowhere didn't it? Everyone was expecting Thuram Kone etc then bam withing 2 days rumour bid n done.

Looks like we might have decided that rather than have a workhorse on the right in Thuram that we instead go for someone more attacking in Szob. Especially when Thiago might be leaving.

Interesting that it's being reported that City have a £40m buy-back clause on Lavia that becomes active in summer 2024. So makes sense to sign this year if they rate him that highly.

Does look like Lavia is the most likely. Caicedo is more expensive, not that much more experienced and we'd end up in a bidding war with Chelsea - far from ideal.

His current plan is to stay at Liverpool for final year of his contract.
