Different kind of pressure needing a win when one of your rivals slip up. Arsenal couldn’t handle it, wouldn’t have happened with City. They’re big favourites now imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t disagree and they have one hand on the trophy right now. The GD difference is not much so we may only need them to slip once (obviously Arsenal still involved), but we have to win the last 6 now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. I know people have said this has been coming for us and they’re not wrong, but I don’t think anyone expected such a big drop off as the last two games. There’s no reason why we can’t turn it around as quickly.
We’ll see…..

True. I have my doubts though. Confidence is a strange thing, difficult to build but easy to lose.
Tottenham are playing City on 14 May, that's my birthday and coincidentally I will be doing the rooftop walk on the Spurs stadium that day. It's some kind of sign surely.
Thing is we now need Arsenal to slip up once again even if City do drop points.

Arsenal being even bigger bottlejobs than us makes me feel slightly better I must be honest. How the fack do they not capitalise in that situation today. It’s just a killer for them mentally. We all know that when City get their noses in front that’s basically it. They’ve facked it big time.
Arteta fecked up today. You can't afford to have players like Zinchenko at fullback who is awful defensively. He had a winning formula with 3-4 CBs and he just goes and plays that clown at fullback.
Dam I’m tied with Naby 40-40 and ME getting whipped too.

You’ve got 2 players left to play v’s my 1 though.
On the basis of how this weekend has gone, poch will either rest Palmer or Jackson will score a hat trick of deflections of his ass.
Leverkusen wrap up the title with a 5-0 home win... Damn Xabi, sure you don't want to jump ship this summer?

For once, I completely agree. Today has been fecking painful.
I fear it’ll be for nothing, but I swear with the amount of chances we create, we’re going to give some team an absolute hiding pretty soon.

He’s under very little pressure at Villa. I suspect that’s probably his true level….
Yeah think Emery is one of those managers who's great at clubs who are one level below the very top but can't quite make that step up.
He was average at both PSG and Arsenal.
Keita refused to travel to the game after not being selected for the starting 11 at the weekend.
His career’s turned into a right car crash.

PSG is a basket case of a club while Arsenal he replaced Wenger who made Arsenal Europa league team and he got them to the final in his first season. He wasn't really backed season after and was sacked after a poor run.
Will be hard to get him out of Villa.
He spent £150m the summer after reaching the Europa final, he just bought duds. Also they collapsed quite spectacularly to finish 5th if I recall.
Could be he's learned how to handle a big club better, but don't think he's good at dealing with the extra expectations.

All those niggles he was carrying where he could have played for us, probably just didn't fancy it.
