I still have some doubts about our 4-2-4 pressing structure. The front 4 stay high up the pitch without pressure on the ball which makes it easy for the opposition to play though us. Arsenal and Brighton scored from this when they played through us.

Our pressing went to sheit when jota got injured, i dont think he trusts or believes nunez can do it. You see Jones playing cf at times in our press tryna orchastrate it. Szob and Jones are decent at it but you need the striker to be leading it. Jota has the intelligence to cut off angles and force them to where slot wants them, worked very well vs milan for example.

today there was no high press first half at all really aside of half arrsed pressed from their gks, we dropped and sat off in our own half pretty willingly.

Slots just been responding to Carras monday night analysis of him and said he likes the high press just as much as Jurgen. Dno why like vs Brighton and tonight first half we just drop off 10 men behind the ball in our own half so willingly. And the effort gap comparison before 1st n 2nd 45 min in terms of sprints etc is huge.

Maybe its what he wants idk, conserve energy 1st half let them tire out and gain a false sense of security and then up our press and intensity 2nd?
