Will this do enough damage to force countries to leave FIFA? It should do.

4za

Blatter’s Executive committee (that he is ultimately responsible for) are being investigated, and his current vice president is looking a jail time.

I believe this could be one bullet that Blatter may be unable to dodge.

Also interesting that the US prosecutors statements were offered as fact, rather than allegations

If you ban Burkas do you ban nuns habits?

No.head coverings are readitional in most cultures - Often by both men and women but covering the face isn't part of British culture.

Whatsmore, I've noticed from working in town it was mostly a fad amongst young women and that died out as quickly as it came in.

Apparently sponsors are withdrawing from Fifa now!

Could this finally be the house of cards falling down or can Blather weather this storm as well?

He's the Tony Blair of football

Time for a breakaway federation, methinks.

We invented the fekin game, let's re-invent the way it's managed by founding an organisation that is truly democratic and transparent.

4 people have already pleaded guilty, now the plea bargaining stars.

Squeal away and all the dirty secrets will come out.

One things for sure, the trial will be long costly and very interesting.

Books will be written about what's about to unfold.

It really could "should" be the end of Fifa as we know it.

How would you go about rebuilding the worlds football governing body?

Also will this have implications for uefa?

Or wait for the courts to punish illegal activities that can be proven in a court of law.

Due process at work.

This will snowball.

Of course it is, the charges are money laundering.

What did you think they could prove as to get this in a federal court.
