Well from the 100 threads we have commented on together VC you should have grasped that attacks would subside once we withdrew from the Middle East and stopped supporting the Saudis and Israelis
..............
spectacularly stupid and profoundly untrue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Based on what?
I have testimony from the killers themselves on my side.
Solid data from professors like Robert P@pe that prove the attacks against us are political.
What do you have on your side? The daily mail?
Or are you only outraged when Palestinians are killed by Jews?
============================
this
Probably because it's a complete reversal of history and evidence.
...............
No, it isn't.
You get long periods where nothing happens in Israel. then some ar sehole from Hamas startys firing rockets into Israel and then Israel retaliate.
I am quite sure you will now post something to justify what Hamas do. There isn't any justification, so don't bother.

Like I have said before it's the poor people that suffer. Everytime Hamas sends a rocket into Israel it puts its so-called own people in severe danger due to an inevitable reprisal from Israel that has a right to protect its citizens.
.................
I can never understand why people don't understand this very simple concept.
---------------
Probably because it's a complete reversal of history and evidence.
The ceasefires are almost without exception broken by Israel, not Hamas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? Israel has nothing to gain by breaking the cease fire.
Okay if you love the Palestinians so much, where is your outrage when ISIS liquidated the Yamouk camp near Damascus?
Or are you only outraged when Palestinians are killed by Jews?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If there was an article condemning it then I'm sure I and others would be on there condemning it to.
On JA606 there are only article condemning Islam or the tortoises themselves which then turns into a debate which includes condemning islam.
There are two questions really and both have more contributing factors than western foreign policy. The first question is what has caused the current situation in the Middle East. The second is what causes young seemingly intelligent men to be radicalised to the extent they believe murdering people is not only not a crime, it is rewarded.
The first question absolutely foreign policy should come into the debate. The second, it's going to take a lot more than that just to stop it. The issue in the latter isn't that the blame is on something (there will always be something to blame), it is their willingness to do it.
This is the thing that gets me the most, when jihadis say that they carry out attacks due to UK/US foreign policy etc, etc... So are they suggesting seriously that if we just ignore them, they will stop fighting and committing terorism around the world?

Maybe we can criticize the attitude of some Muslims when there is an attack or in my case, praise the Tunisian response after the recent attack. I doubt anyone thinks or blames all Muslims for any act of terror. Certainly it is only and will ever be a minority of mad men who had access to guns causing all these troubles the world over.

Massive number of rapes against women soldiers within the army as well. More evidence of soldiers thinking for themselves.

If you are going to come onto every article like this preaching that all of Islam should not be judged by the actions of a few, can you please start practicing what you preach in reverse and stop judging the entire British army and western world based on the actions of a few or what you have read from a biased source.
If you cannot live by the standards you are trying to condone, how do you expect others to?
Most armies in the world are manipulated to think a certain way
Most soldiers come from deprived uneducated backgrounds
They are merely pawns to be thrown into the front line
Soldiers are institutionalised and follow the agenda of their leaders
They believe what they are told and believe they are doing good

Yes it is correct. I'd cite you the evidence but, as you've demonstrated repeatedly already, you have no interested in challenging your own misconceptions about these issues.
Furthermore, what long periods of nothing are you referring to? Do you mean, the bits where the occupation, which is quite brutal, continues? That's not nothing. Or the continued settlement expansion? Also just nothing? The blockade? Nothing, too?
It's a daily military occupation - there's no 'nothing' going on. Stuff like this happens without a hint of media coverage, as just one example:

I'm talking about the British army.
Please refer to ex soldiers like Ben Griffin and joe Glenton who provide plenty of information on the crimes some soldiers commit.
Massive number of rapes against women soldiers within the army as well. More evidence of soldiers thinking for themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you are going to come onto every article like this preaching that all of Islam should not be judged by the actions of a few, can you please start practicing what you preach in reverse and stop judging the entire British army and western world based on the actions of a few or what you have read from a biased source.
If you cannot live by the standards you are trying to condone, how do you expect others to?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can guarantee KFC will turn up on any article relating to the ME and completely distract from the main point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both of you are to eager.
Read my response again, it says "some soldiers"
I know it's SOME soldiers not least because I have worked with ex soldiers who left the army because they didn't want to partake in illegal invasions.
So it's pretty obvious to me that a lot of soldiers are murdering rapists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fo' sho', but check your first comment - "armies" (not 'some soldiers'... also, you don't offer anything in the way of agreeance at atrocities but look to shift blame to the West.

---------------------------
Yes it is correct.

I'm sure, knowing French as I do, that he meant individuals active or aligning themselves with IS and/or terrorist policies, and not a blanket bomb on the middle east. Right French?

And the army.
................
Depends what army you are on about. The British army, for instance, encourages it's personnel to be able to think for themselves.

It's because you read only what you want to read.
In every thread like these I distance Islam way from groups that commit atrocities. Why do you think that is?
Oh and it is the blame of the west.
