saha wasn't a bad signing on a free tbh. quite liked Louis.

is that N'Jie any good?
I said that N`Jie was a waste of money from the off, and I got abused for it. Nothing since has made me change my mind. He may improve, but I doubt it will be at Spurs. Another dud signing. Fortunately Spurs have brought some real cheap gems in Alli and Dier.
I did read the article, which was why I asked who, and made the point it'll be difficult to find someone who's good enough who's available for Europe.
N'jie was alright vs City and in one of the Europa games. Looks really wasteful but always looks a threat.
Who knows really.

how the fack do you expect to have any credibility sandy when you type bollox like this?!
squid ..Glass half FULL..
Its all well and good saying we should go out and buy a striker but we only play 1 up front and which decent frontman would join us knowing he would be a benchwarmer
That`s my sentiments. I agree with Don, Spurs probably do need a striker, but you aint going to get any decent one just to sit on the bench.
sandy you said you didn't rate Njie before you saw him play because of his hair
that kid has talent, hes just very very raw, and he will develop into a very dangerous player !

It`s an opinion Mr Knowall, it may differ with yours, but your not the only one allowed to post what you think. N,Jie has offered next to nothing since he has been at WHL. He has been at the club three months, and has had a couple of cameo appearances, something should tell you he aint going to be that good. What makes you think he is going to turn into the next Ronaldo.

sandy, we both have always said this spurs defence needs sorting for us to do anything and finally we have a solid defence. I always said Jan Vertonghen needed a top quality partner and look at the difference? when you have Kaboul and Chirichis with you it's no wonder why his form dropped
TBH Njet was bought for potential as all our recent buys were
Levy is a very clever man and he knows with the stadium cost we cannot compete with the moneybags clubs , he buys young and and gives them the best football education , Njie is another one off the production line in 18 months time
BTW our team yesterday was the youngest in the Prem this season

Galvin. we have 1 striker mate. Thudd been trying to argue with me for months saying Son and Njie are strikers but I'm not having it. Both have never been natural strikers in their career so you can't just pretend they are strikers just to suit your argument. Would you be confident if Kane got injured? this is my point.
People seem to forget that when we went in for Saha/Nelson that January, we already had Defoe, Pavlyuchenko and Adebayor on our books, not to mention VDV and Bale.
Do people really think that signing Saha cost us anything. He scored 3 goals in 10.
That same winter Suarez went to Liverpool with Carroll. Suarez scored 4 in 13 and Carroll got injured. Dzeko was signed by City in a Jan window and he also had a poor 2 goals in 15 games run. Not only are players expensive in January, choices are limited and they miss any sort of pre-season etc, just expected to hit the ground running.
I think that any new signing will take time to adapt to the way we play/train.
To me it made perfect sense to add some backup, but even if we had gone £20m on Suarez he took time to adapt.

Dear Don.
Thanks for your note which I read with interest.
My first question is why you feel it's ok to slate me over and over again (see http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/321664 or http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/308004) but now think that you can ask me nicely to buy you a new striker.
My second question is now that the season is going so well and we are a young, exciting side playing excellent football, how come you've gone a bit quiet and stopped calling me a 'bald c***'.
My third question is how you know confidently that Son and CLinton aren't fit to play as strikers, having not trained them / recruited them / scouted them / followed their pre-premiership years.
My fourth question is how anyone thinks that Berahino is having a season that is anywhere near good enough to be our striking answer.
Anyway, thanks again for the note and I wish you a happy christmas. I'm glad that this is 'the most exciting season in years', apparently I can't be so bad after all.
Love, Daniel.
Don
Son is a striker he has got about 25 international goals and he has scored 3 or 4 for us in a limited number of games ......The maan is Asian footballer of the year and have you ever looked at some of thr goals he scored in Germany
Squid, I'm not denying Son's ability mate. I love the guy but he's not a striker. He has never played consistently as a striker for any club and has always been a wing forward type player.
Well that's definetly chronic pretending to be levy, so obvious
