I don't know if Berahino is so unrealistic Don. Given that he's sidelined most of the time now I reckon they'd be willing to part company. Just as long as Levy made a move early. That would be imperative. If we are going to get someone, do it early, so that team can replace.

If we wanted the quick and agile type of syrriker we could have got Chicarito in the Summer for a third of Berahino's cost, and twice the player

Loads on here wrote him off as rubbish, 12 in 15 games for him so far, just scored in his 7th consecutive match

Austin has a dodgy knee allegedly, that could explain why nobody has taken him.

Berahino`s value will be dropping week by week and he will not sign a new contract, in the summer he will enter the last year of his deal when his value will plummet, so if Albion want a decent fee for him they would be as well taking a likely January offer. I think £15m in January would be a fair offer for Berahino.

Pato is an interesting one, obviously a class act but doubts over injuries and suitability for the PL, at the mooted £8m though, surely worth a gamble and he is still only 26.

Blimey, at a time where we should be praising Levy for not blowing millions and millions on certain players that were being bandied about pre-season, and giving Poch a big pat on the back for, not only integrating youngsters into the team, but also for coaching players in to unfamiliar positions - making them look like they were born to play there (Dier) – Don still finds the time to have a dig at Levy….

Whilst Don may not think Son is a striker, he was most certainly signed as cover for that position – as was N’Jie.

As has been said, it would be nice to pick up one of the Premiership’s or European’s big guns in January but this simply isn’t going to happen. I personally think Berahino is our best hope – although I would have thought he would fall into Don’s “bad egg” category – and am surprised to see such a character on his wish list.

Chicken, go on the spurs website. They have Clinton Njie listed as a midfielder so I'm not sure what part of striker cover that comes from. He is not a striker and neither is Son. You might aswell say Chadli and Lamela are cover for Harry Kane. My point is and it's a very valid point is levy needs to make sure we are not short in jan. You talk like I don't give praise to pochettino etc. Unlike you I been a huge poch backer ever since the beginning. So that's totally irrelevant telling me I should be praising the way he's integrated certain players when I have been doing that all season. Levy needs to buy a striker in jan. It's a valid point and one that most spurs fans agree on.

Firstly, Son is listed as a "forward" so you might want to back-track a bit on that .

Secondly, the site isn't going to list every player's secondary position or positions they can cover.

Galvin, that's it mate. Son was listed as a midfielder when we signed him. Saw it with my own eyes. The moment we didn't get berahino the spurs website conveniently changed his position to forward which then resulted in a meltdown on twitter. Spurs website actually come out and tweeted how Son was always going to be listed as a striker they got busted. So chicken you have lost on this one mate Clinton Njie and Son are not the players we should be playing in a strikers position if Kane gets injured. If levy dosen't sort this out then don't come and moan on this website when Kane gets injured and we start going down hill.

Which leads me to believe spurs official didn't want to be seen as only having 1 striker. Hence the change in position which everyone noticed.
