Can we stop sending foreign aid to them now.

Most if the issues with economy are related to depreciation of the pound. Due to vote, and threats to leave the SM.
The long term impacts of Brexit won't be fully realised for years.

What do you want another vote?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course not. But a grasp of reality is required by those entrusted with shaping our future.
What some in government are suggesting is utterly ridiculous.

Perhaps you could advise them?

The House of Lords crossbench select committee already have. But their findings appear to have been ignored.

Ah yes, foreign aid, another hatred of the Racist Right.
-------------------
Giving tax payers money to countries with space programs and more billionaires than us is hardly hatred, just common sense, give it to people who need it, not African despots,

TBf it is up to the sitting government to negotiate the process not the Lords.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even when they have found to be ignorant to WTO, EU statute? Ie legally incompetent.
You should read the findings. Four separate reports. All of which are damning.

There are enough civil servants to advise them on the legalities.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. There's not. That's the point!
"We recognise that the Government is engaging with industry stakeholders, but are not convinced that the level of engagement and expertise within government are commensurate with the scale of this unprecedented task, particularly given the Government’s commitment to trigger Article 50 by the end of March 2017"
"The Government appears to be underestimating the resources required to negotiate a bespoke deal with the EU, to adopt its WTO schedules, and to agree future trading relationships with third countries. We urge the Government to increase significantly the capacity of the Department of International Trade and the Department for Exiting the EU, and we also call on the Government to provide a clear estimate of the number of staff it will need to recruit to both departments, and the cost that this will incur"
DEexEU have around 440 staff. Vs 26,000 in the EU Commission.
The government are woefully under prepared.

Tbh I'm sick of hearing all the negatives. The vote was cast and we deal with the consequences. We are in a new situation and we should be looking to the future and not mourning the past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pointing out the reality of the situation is hardly negative.
We all want the best for the UK. But to disregard or overlook the consequences. Given the implications for us all, is simply putting your head in the sand.
It's not the past we should be concerned about but the future.
