Good to see our British and North American bonds are back on, after anti-brit Obama left........the man who armed the Saudi's to bomb Yemen, messed up in North Africa and the middle east, and tried to push us to the back of the queue.
By the way hec, not sure many refugees and migrants are moving west from Saudi Arabia.Sadly, money and oil rule, so like Obama, we may treat those fanatical islamists more favourably????
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let us get this clear it was Republican Bush who let loose US troops in Iraq and all that came with it. Obama stuck with the plan to get them out of there.

Libya?
Syria?
Yemen?
Isis
Palestine /Israel all on Obama watch.

I'm not even sure that they are tbh. At least not on Europe soil (or US for that matter). It might not be the case in Asia/middle East though.
They are just more reported because of the accessibility of information.

5 mass killings in the last two years in Europe, there was 16 years before the 5 before that...

Not suggesting it's not a problem but the stats show terrorist attacks in Europe between 2000 & 2016 were significantly less than the years before.

Not just Obama to be fair. Bush, Clinton, Bush senior etc etc, and the current incumbent. You could say it's a US governmental policy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hec and others wonder why Saudi Arabia was not on the list of potentially dangerous migrants, linked to Isis etc.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I asked why Trump wasn't banning visas from Saudi Arabia, as he is doing with Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya et al, earlier?
The biggest terrorist attack on US soil, with the biggest loss of life, was perpetrated by Saudi's.

Yup, bin Laden and wahhibi Muslim lunacy preached globally from fundamental islamist Saudi is sickening .
They do not export many migrants though.

Bad stuff from nasty men😉
I was under the impression that ISIS were formed as remnants of supporters of Saddam Hussain (Sunni Muslims), and the weakening of Al Qaeda in the Middle East. Their contempt for the west is derived from us bombing Iraq after 9-11 and the Gulf war that preceded it.
I'm not an expert but that was the impression I got.
Republicans controlled the senate TBAB. They 'curtailed' a lot of what Obama wanted to do. Only right you should blame them.

The Belfast case had nothing to do with the customs boarder. Totally unrelated.
On a side note the Dublin a50 case was filed today though.
In regard to trade agreements read the ascension process for WTO membership. It's not very long:
"Any state or customs territory having full autonomy in the conduct of its trade policies may join ( “accede to ” ) the WTO, but WTO members must agree on the terms."
https://www.wto.org/english/thewto_e/whatis_e/tif_e/org3_e.htm#join
The main point being "full autonomy in the conduct of its trade policies" The EU commission have intellectual property rights to the UK's trading schedules. It could take many years to firstly acquire these instruments, and have them re-written without EU statute.
Thankfully by the time the UK acquires its trading schedules, leaves the EU, renegotiates SM access, and rejoins the WTO, Trump will have served his time as POTUS.
Today's visit by May was nothing more than a PR exercise.

My impression too, although more complex.
Obama withdrew troops too early from Iraq so what later became ISIS got a foothold, and then crossed the border and to take advantage of civil war in Syria.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Libya?
Syria?
Yemen?
Isis
Palestine /Israel all on Obama watch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you blaming Obama for these things?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He can take some part of the blame for all of them, same goes for us too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry but blaming Obama when it was Bush who started the fire is just plain stupid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really, Mr Obama good.....Mr bush bad, eh?
Drones fired on Obama watch......targeting bin laden for a hit, arming Saudi's to attack Yemen, and the Libya disaster were Obama in power.
How did Obama fix Syria?...oh yes, he let Assad and Russia sort it, ffs cal.
Obama and Eu also stirred the pot in Ukraine....how did that go?
Democrats are as bad as republicans....grow up dude.

My impression too, although more complex.

Obama withdrew troops too early from Iraq so what later became ISIS got a foothold, and then crossed the border and to take advantage of civil war in Syria.

Republicans controlled the senate TBAB. They 'curtailed' a lot of what Obama wanted to do. Only right you should blame them.

You do fake news😁

TBAB

Good PR, eh?
