One anecdotal description of your own personal experience does not demonstrate the multiple of issues facing UK businesses.
++++
Apologies for using my actual experience rather than listening to spin from politicians, google or the ramblings of people on Facebook etc
You are saying investors prefer the South and I am telling you that my own professional experience is the opposite
What is your experience of investing or developing in Ireland?
I don't know why you are asking me about the benefits of Brexit as I did not want to Brexit

Each industry will have different requirements. Some, due to logistics, or a particular business requirement, may decide to invest in NI.
But the larger corporations, and multinational companies, including tech, pharma, financial services etc will need to either remain, or invest in the EU. Which, in respect to NI, is a few miles down the road.
My previous post was based on information from the industry body. Who represent UK business interests. Not social media, politicians or those with a particular agenda.
Only last month Arlene Foster publicly criticised the Irish government for tapping into NI investors, due to brexit.

So you have no personal experience then?
The company I developed with are one of the largest in the world BTW and they choose the North because it was 20% cheaper
That is only my actual experience, no doubt a google search will say something else
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I work in financial services. But im aware of the regulatory requirements for businesses. In respect of EU statute.
I'm glad your business decided to invest in NI. I hope others follow suit.

There could be (long term) benefits to leaving the EU, if the UK moved to a more export driven, manufacturing based economy.
If the UK produced/manufactured products and services exclusively in Britain. Much like the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
At present, (and over the last 30/40 years) this is not the case. And nearly all UK manufacturing has ties to the EU.
An industrial revolution is not going to happen overnight however. And will take many years, (in the current climate of globalisation) if even possible.

Unfortunately the likes of Farage and his ilk will still get their MEP pension. Circa 80k a year.
However any taxpayer saving to MEP salary is pittance. Especially compared to the UK having a say in the EU parliament, EU Commission, which, (regardless of Brexit) is essential to the UK’s business interests.
For example a couple of months ago I booked flights to Orlando next summer. American Airlines had threatened to pull the service from Belfast.
The Stormont Executive however stepped in with a package to save the service. Unfortunately a complaint was made, and the case (state aid) was put to the EU Commission for their consideration.
As Lord Harris, and the UK’s EU representatives stepped down (last July) after the Ref result, the UK no longer had a voice in Europe to challenge the complaint.
While the EU Commission did not reach a decision, American Airlines pulled their service from Belfast – permanently.
Thankfully my flights have since been rescheduled to leave from Dublin.

Look Russia suffered badly in the war but their acts in Ukraine were equally bad. mass deportations of Tatars and ethnic Germans.
+++++
But that's not answering my question so I can only assume you don't know the answer?
Good luck in the open
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you could have several answers so why not provide what you think is the 'main' reason and then we can move on and discuss it..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you cannot answer?
You don't know why Russia cannot let go of Ukraine?
No problem that you don't btw but I would suggest a bit of research before totally criticizing Russia over it - I am not saying they are blameless btw, not by any manner of means. I am just saying that I can understand the reasons behind it
