Yes I can read and see abuse being thrown around by all of you

Doesn't change the fact it's his opinions and he shouldn't be shouted down because of them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If his opinion is you are a racist without foundation, or that you are praising the na zis he deserved to be shouted down
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it without foundation? Maybe he interpreted comments differently to how people have intended?

Anyway like I say I respect him for having an opinion and sticking to it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you respect Chicken?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Assume you mean on his stance on Lamela?

I believe he's a complete wum tbh although some Ines opinion on a player in football is totally different to some opinion on life

Godwin's Law states that as an online argument grows longer and more heated, it becomes increasingly likely that somebody will bring up Adolf Hitler or the Naz is. When such an event occurs, the person guilty of invoking Godwin's Law has effectively forfieted the argument.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A bit different here because it was in the OP I will re-post the comments in question though....

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I take your point. I was merely referring to the issue of a Brexiteer being tarred as such.

But you don't have to be left wing to be concerned at the success of Brexit and Trump. You are right that blue collar workers or the marginalised working class, however you want to phrase it, feel disenfranchised and political parties in the West, whether centre-left or centre-right, have been given an almighty wake-up call and need to address these issues. But what Brexit and Trump have in common with Marine Le Pen and other far-right and neo-Nazi groups in Europe are isolationist, nationalistic, insular or national self-interest tendencies that will create an atmosphere of 'them and us' throughout the globe. These are the conditions that allowed the two world wars of the twentieth century to develop. From the point of view of an historian, this is deeply disturbing. Trump's stated intention to withdraw from NATO and cut all links with international free trade is a direct parallel with the UKs disengagement with Europe. The EU and the UN along with its predecessor, the League of Nations, were set up in the wake of the two world wars in an effort to establish a sense of international fellowship and to prevent any such war occurring again. We now see a tendency to retreat from these organisations. The rise of populism in the forms of UKIP and Trumpism echo those of the rise of the Brownshirts in Thirties Germany. The increase in racist attacks and verbal abuse on Poles in the UK raises the spectre of Krystallnacht. It is to be hoped that this scenario doesn't come to pass.

I've said it before to Sizzle you don't win people over by abusing them you win them over by persuasive argument. There is plenty of abuse on both sides but as someone of the centre/left it depresses me to see Labour people resorting to this. And I am not immune myself as I sometimes lose patience when I see what I think are stupid posts.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, two minutes ago.

Sizzle is anti-white and hates the brits, yet claims to be a right on leftist.
Similar to the anti-jewish element in labour and especially Momentum, of the left, but facist too.

Corbyn cultists are super haters, if the lefty leader is challenged, and use facist threats against labour members.

Tbf by how I see most of the same people on these threads i couldn't differentiate between anyone.

Everyone has their opinion and believe it's better than anyone else's opinion thus every thread turns into a slanging match.

Look at what weare has said towards me just for saying I like the way sizzle sticks to his opinion ( although I don't particularly like the way he goes about saying it )

Poles elected anti-immigration party to govern them.

Racist attacks are wrong, end of.

Pushing mass immigration, global capitalism and an elite liberal left establishment results in brexit, and populist wins in America or europe.

I'm born in this country you f*** buffoon so why should i leave? what i don't agree with is immigrants coming over here and basically getting handouts which is exactly what left wing luvvies like yourself believe in. I'm hoping that US foreign policy will be formulated by someone that actually has a clue about foreign affairs ie someone other than Trump.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, hilary and democrats are warmongers, compared to Trump.
Trump has a more thoughtful foreign policy, amazingly, than those who created isis and a shambles in the middle east, or kabul.
Hilary was going after Russia......Trump may calm that for a start.

Alfie, only 52% voted for Brexit.

I was one, but I have no time for people who have abused EU nationals, and I am more than happy for anyone here now to be given full British citizenship.

I am not against immigration, and have no wish to see it stop - I just see no reason why there needs to be complete freedom of movement. This is not something widespread in the world.

I want us to trade as freely as possible, but see no reason why we should not negotiate our own world trade deals without having to run it by every other EU country first.

I do not believe a European court should ever take precedence over a British one.

Have racists voted for Brexit?
Yes, but they will ultimately be disappointed.

Are all Brexit voters racist?
No. Tony Benn and even Jeremy Corbyn were anti EU. The latter probably secretly is.

The country is pretty liberal on the whole, and the younger generation are more liberal than ever. We do not vote extreme parties in, no matter the guff spouted over the last few years.

The world is a different place to 70 years ago, I do not think we would have the appetite for a proper war to be honest - we are a soft and flabby nation for one.

exactly, but don't let facts get in the way of the politically correct buffoon sizzle. I have no problem with immigration and this was never the argument in the 1st place. As pointed out my dad come over from Cyprus so if it wasen't for immigration then i wouldn't of been born in this country. The issue is immigrants coming over and getting a free ride. My dad worked all his life over here and still does. What i despise is people coming over and getting 4/5 bedroom houses handed to them. It's buffoons like sizzle that instigate this sort of thing happening because he believes everyone that dares to speak up is a racist

I suppose it begs the question why you only respect Sizzle for having an opinion and sticking to it, rather than respecting everyone for having an opinion and sticking to it?

If you lookmat this type of thread, Sizzle is often an instigator of turning a decent debate in to a slanging match

Wasn't it a republican who sent US forces into Afghanistan and Iraq?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You could argue Trump is not actually a Republican. I mean, the party hate him, he has never held any political position for the party, called their voters idiots and used to donate to the Democrats
