Yeah perhaps, but I think the main driver for putting him right is his racism. A social issue more than anything. More akin to the religious right than the capitalist right. Hitler being an anti capitalist as well as an anti communist

On a bit of a tangent here but to me authoritarian political ideology is similar to religious ideology.

Neither left or right versions are similar to a capitalist rightwing or a Liberal left viewpoint

The simplistic way people view politics is quite scary.

The National Socialist German Workers party were left wing, the clue being in the name, they were founded on anti big-business, capitalism and against the higher classes.

Chairman Mao was clearly a communist who's party were responsible for the deaths of thousands, same could be applied to Stalin and even north Korea is a left wing and communist state.

Other left wing leaders with questionable practices being Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, and Castro in Cuba.

So many people see the simplistic view that left = good and right = bad. That's just not true and a very stupid way of deciding things.

Any country like the USA that is happy with over 15,000 of its own citizens getting killed by guns every year needs to take a serious look at itself.

Delighted that the liberal elite have once again had the rug pulled from under them. To label as racist those that voted trump and bred it is very blinkered.
