Capitalism is the only economic system that has crushed democracy within its own country.
---------
Really? Do you even believe what you are typing?
I find the killing and jailing of your potential opposition (in the event the Communist regimes allowed elections that is) has quite the democracy-crushing type of outcome.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe I am spectacularly misinformed then and you can tell me about the wonderful freedom loving democracy that existed in Tsarist Russia that the evil communists crushed....
Or how about the flourishing Cuban democracy that the communists crushed there?
Either you are spectacularly misinformed about history or you can't read.
Cuba was an authoritarian country run by a dictator with no democracy, the communists didn't crush democracy there.
Russia was an authoritarian country run by a dictator with no democracy, the communists didn't crush democracy there.
The dictators that have crushed democracy within their own country....
Adolf, Mussolini and Franco, a bunch of commies if ever I have heard of them.... although I'm sure that's not an exhaustive list and there has to be a couple of counter examples.
But generally if you want democracy crushed within your own country the right wing is the way to go....

Don't really know much about Cuba but I can tell you the dictatorship the Soviets established in Russia went far beyond anything the Tsars did
Don't get me wrong Stalin was worse than the Tsar's, part of me wonders if technology and the ability to have a stronger grip on the country was part of it as the Tsars could be pretty brutal but I am more than happy to accept that Stalin was quite a bit worse.
But any misconceptions about pre communism Russia being a democracy or having a free press or any of the things we associate with freedom are fantasies, it was as much of a democracy during as it was previously.

Your imagination us running overtime, take that chip off your shoulder, man-up and accept the fact not everyone shares your views and if you post provocation it'll come back at you. Your insults are childish and just show you up as an ill educated oaf, is that who you are?
This glee you have, that you seem to be excited about, the death of liberalism, the rise of the right. You espouse freedom of sexuality, religion and speech, they only exist in this world because of liberal ideals.

Massive difference between genuine liberals and the far leftists, and that is why I refer to leftists, not liberalism.
Liberal political opinion and amnesty highlight the nasty nature of comrade castro, but the far left do not do so.
You have called me various names, including right supremacist, white only racist?, ill educated oaf, extremist, loyalist and orange apologist, islamophobe, with a chip on the shoulder, childish etc, etc.

Let us be clear Hitler was right wing not left wing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are too many definitions of left and right wing these days. The traditional definition is amount of government with extreme left being total government control and extreme right being none. In that sense Hitler was far left. Other definitions are economy, in this case Hitler is central and race/nationalism and in this case Hitler is far right. So you can say, depending on your pick of definition, Hitler is far-left, centrist and far-right. Silly definitions. Would much rather say he's a caant regardless of left/right.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spot on, and applicable to castro, mussollini, stalin, mao, pinochet and brendan rodgers.
The traditional definition is amount of government with extreme left being total government control and extreme right being none.
...............................
Bit mixed up there, anarchists are left wing total lack of government thinkers, Hitler was the opposite... right wing...
The military and the police, usually central to right wing policy are essential for government control.
Anarchists are, not exactly but not a million milles away from hippies. These guys are the opposite of conservative voters, they wouldn't vote for Blair, even Corbyn would be a compromise for them.
