Well done to the changed Taliban who have now elected as many female leaders as Labour have.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does that make Labour as bad as the Taliban or the Taliban as bad as Labour in your mind?

And the bonus for 10. When was the last time a government followed their manifesto? 😂

Deflection, same same.

The only place a govt gets held accountable for broken manifesto promises is at the ballot box

AND

People who work in social care are saying this NI rose isn't going to fix the actual problem, it's good to alloc as the funds to training more cafe workers but when the base pay is so low you're still going to struggle to attract workers from within the UK... Mass migration will be needed to cover the vacant roles

£8b removed from social care by the tories pre pandemic, how muchnisnthis going to raise, £5b.
I'm all in favour of paying more for more but this is a sticking plaster both in terms of monies raised and without them plan to restructure social care OUTWITH the NHS.

Not clicked on the link. Assume it’s paywalled anyway.

But the words ‘vote-leave’, ‘news’ and ‘trans’ together the mind boggles

So the headline from those figures is essentially:

Those receiving the benefit of the money happy that someone else has to pay for it

This is the problem with conservatism in my opinion, eventually you run out of other people's money to spend

Today's NI rise for social care is in addition to the seemingly forgotten currehtbcouncil tax provision for social care.
We have to pay for the society we want and I've no issue with that, but the burden should be carried by the wealthiest in our society, not the poorest.
