Just a side question, apropos of nothing but if say in 6 months Putin and Russia decided to invade Latvia would people be more in favour of a direct war with Russia?

I understand they’re in NATO so the choice will be taken away but would people on here still prefer to stay out of it?

Looks like Russia might be struggling with its military objectives, and have been unexpected by the scale of the Ukrainian resistance.

May well be disinformation, as right now a lot of unreliable information is flying around.

Russia had NATO states on its doorstep even before Ukraine so not sure why people are so obsessed with the idea it’s NATOs fault.

Those calling for Putin to be stopped, killed,
put in a box etc may do so from a moral or political perspective, with justification, and may be right, while those advocating compromise or no UK troops on Ukraine soil my be right, or wrong, but what route now saves most lives and prevents escalation?

That is what NATO and the world must decide while we argue wi strangers.
