OK lets get Boris and Co back.

This Labour lot are clearly incapable of clearing up the mess the last lot created over 13 odd years. Christ, they have had nearly 3 months already and still most things seem the same.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you kidding?

Time may well prove you correct but it takes years to steady a ship. Years…
----------------------------------------------------------------------

err yes, I was kidding actually.

My point was that it will take years to steady ship.

Not 3 months.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Did they not prepare plans during their 14 years in opposition? I don’t think anyone really still knows what their plans actually are.

Sure there are headline grabbers, but there is no detail whatsoever other than settling pay disputes and significantly raising taxes whilst cutting spending.

Starmers’s popularity is dropping like a stone and if it carries on, there’s every chance of a leadership challenge.

Maybe the conference will reveal all.

Off to Nikki Beach to spend some of my ill gotten gains earned by the sweat of the underprivileged

As you’re a Scot and not English Ginge, you get a pass, obviously.

The path to the beach is made of human bones.

This was, wrote Engels, a conflict of ‘civilization against barbarism’.[1] It was essential to prevent ‘the civilized West’ from being subjugated by ‘the barbarian East’.[2] Small ‘degenerated’ ethnic groups—‘ruined fragments of peoples’ such as Bretons, Basques, Scottish Gaelic speakers and most Slavs, were rightly ‘destined to perish’.[3] Even larger nations such as the Poles ‘are done for’: ‘let them stew in their own juice, send them into battle, gobble bare their land, fob them off with promises.’[4]

The mojitos are fair going down well to be fair. Mrs Ginger is trying to stop me from watching our game on my phone.

Also raging as the official photographer starts taking snaps of us at the table (for selling obvs) then asks me to sit to the side while he carries on taking pics of her.

A good plan will be one that takes longer than 3 months to execute and bear fruit surely. Unbelievable and certifiably stoopid reasoning if we're being honest.

New national NBC News poll: A double-digit rise in popularity and an early edge in better representing 'change' have vaulted Harris forward to a 5pt lead over Trump, 49% to 44%.

This is our first poll since mid-July, when Trump led Biden by 2pts, 45% to 43%

5 point lead over Trump is quite big if that poll is accurate

The mayor of the only city in the United States with an all-Muslim government has endorsed former President Donald Trump for November’s presidential election.

Amer Ghalib, who leads the city of Hamtramck in the crucial battleground state of Michigan, said on Sunday that the Republican candidate is a “man of principles” and “the right choice”, despite their disagreements on some issues.

“President Trump and I may not agree on everything, but I know he is a man of principles,” Ghalib said in a post on Facebook.

“Though it’s looking good, he may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States, but I believe he is the right choice for this critical time. I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences.”

Nice, Teamsters also unofficially endorsed him too given they always endorse democrat and didn’t this year, also seems like trump has a lot of black support this time round too judging off twitter

Musk, sounding more like Trump every day, now gibbering on about supposedly ‘freeloading’ undocumented migrants.

ITEP estimates that undocumented migrants in the US paid an estimated total $97bn in taxes in 2022.

All seemed pretty sensible to me. What good would a day in court and/or some punishment provide a child, when at least his parents appear to have taken some responsibility and bollocksed him out good and proper whilst probably embarrassing him into the bargain?

By the sound of things they’ll be right on his case.

Sensible decision all round for me.

A rare occasion of common sense prevailing.

49 under 18s did get charged, where were their parents?
(We know one of them was in Ibiza)
I must be getting old because I see more and more parents wanting to be friends with their kids rather than parents actually raising their children.
