Leeds have sacked their manager. That’s 9 in 4 years. Stability rules
I reported this earlier, Halfy is always first on the scene!
Halfy = Kate Addie

So Patricia's a free agent. You do realise that he'll be after a huge signing on fee plus a hefty wage then?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Altering a players name to a girl's name has got to be the most desperate form of wumming.
I think it might be best if you take a few weeks away from football before the world cup. You need time to properly grieve.
At last some real news!
Converted loans only at the moment, but something at least. A good step in the right direction.
I think this is a good time to sign Afobe, he knows the Premier League & should be approaching his prime. He loves the club and will be hungry to prove himself there.
Jota and Boly are no brainers. Big Willy is a proper footballer, but will need to stay switched on defensively in the big league.
Hopefully Jota doesn't get the same sort of treatment he got at times from the cloggers in the championship. Hes going to be a big player for us, hopefully for many years to come.
Jota and Boly are great signings and it would have been a tragedy if we hadn’t signed them up. I do have reservations about Afobe, particularly at that price. But Nuno got great improvement last season out of Coady, Cavaleiro, Saiss and Doherty so let’s hope he can do the same for Afobe

Deadline for season ticket holders to renew for next season passed yesterday. 98% renewed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's happened to the other 2%? Do they not realise you're about to win the World Cup?!

I have told him already that calling people silly names and spending his life on the Wolves board isn’t doing him any good, but he just keeps loitering around.
I guess the relegation has hit him harder than most WBA fans, poor thing
he craves attention from his superiors, to give his worthless life and football club some meaning.
i dont give him any, others should do the same.
Glad to read that you too have reservations about Afobe DJ, especially at that price, even if it was only 10m.
I think a strike force of Cavaleiro, Jota and Costa would be quite a formidable front line and I would hope we get a top class striker to be ahead of Afobe.
Plus I don't buy all that bollox about him loving our club. If he did, he would have helped us get to the Premier League before, instead of the lure of money in the top flight.
Afobe wanted out as much as anything due to the BS the club were peddling at the time, he had no hope of prem with the direction we were going and took the opportunity elsewhere.
I would be amazed if he is our first choice striker come August, he is just another useful option.
Harsh Wolfie, but straight to the point
Don’t get the Afobe signing myself unless we just improving the squad average. Maybe it’s with a view to loaning him out in the future certainly expecting better players to come in up top
Think that is exactly what we are doing halfy, just increasing the average quality of the squad in general in areas that were desperate and I have no doubt Afobe won't be our main striker.
how about filtering this Sandwell idiot gem
Sandwell idiot pretty much sums it up
Although he’ll probably come back with ‘I’m not from Sandwell I’m from Manchester (or some other innner City ghetto) <yak>
I think 10m for a back up striker is pushing it to be honest. If it were 3/4m I'd gladly agree with you all. But 10m was Bournemouth getting their money back knowing we have cash.
We paid 2. Sold him for ten (8m up)
Signed him for 10m
So what's that £2m for him
Anyone know the length of contracts for these 3?
Says long term. Your guess is as good as any

£10 million for a back up striker in the Premier League is probably the going rate to be fair.

Nah he's just a lonely boggie. All his mates have scattered so he's having a bit of harmless fun on our board.
Great to have some proper news at last. We have to wait a few more days now for the European transfer window to open and then we can see if any of perton's 277 rumours will actually come to fruitition
Just get in Talisca, Aboubakar and a decent keeper. Job done
