Ted advocating for the bold no manager strategy
Jose is done not matter what now. He'd have to win every remaining game left this season and for use to see great performances and signs of identity and playing for the manager, which seem an impossibility
Definitely do NOT want Sarri............
Rodgers or Nuno Santos might be good alternatives, I just want a straight forward manager who wants to play attacking football with a half decent defence backing up.
Rodgers would say no probably
Nuno plays horrible football

I dont think he would say no if they dropped from top 4
Not an awful lot of options
I'd even take Daniel Farke
"who is the worst manager you would take over Jose" is a fun game
Has anybody mentioned Bielsa yet?

Argentinian connection. It would certainly be more enjoyable next season
The worst manager I'd take over Jose?
Danny Cowley and his brother. Absolutely no experience in top flight football but it's a great story and they're triffic lads.
Bielsa is going to to be staying at Leeds he's just a weirdo who only wants one year deals and refuses to negotiate the next one until the season is over

I don't think I've ever hated an ex-spurs player quite as much as him. Moron.

If JN is going Bayern then the next obvious choice would be Rodgers, and Levy should make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Beyond that it’s Potter, who would be a gamble and although it does have a bit of a Poch feel about it I would say he’s a bigger risk in that despite Brighton’s nice football he hasn’t demonstrated a tangible improvement there in the way Poch had done with Saints (8th place and a really good team by the end of his first full season). I was calling for us to get Poch in the Feb of 2014 when LVG seemed to be favourite, be used I really rated him. Don’t have that same sense or feeing about Potter but I would still take the risk on him if it meant moving on from Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When you add what Potter did at Ostersunds and overachieving with them in Europe, I think it becomes less of a risk.
If he comes to us, it will be a similar path to that of Ole at United. Take out the fact he was an ex-player, this is a guy who managed a small outfit in a weak European league, achieved great success domestically, and then came to a lower team in the PL. Only Potter is doing better with his lower PL team than Ole did. But United fans are reasonably satisfied at the moment with Ole; in second place, and favourites for the Europa. No reason why Potter can't do well with us with time and backing.
Nagelsmann 4/1
Simeone / Erik Ten Hag 10/1
Nuno / Ancelotti / Benitez / Allegri 12/1
Rogers 14/1
Selected others: Parker, Gerrard, Ralf H, Bielsa ...
It's not a great list, is it. JN off to Bayern. No way Simeone comes to Spurs. Ten Hag, I mean, who knows if he'll succeed in a real league. Allegri moved back to Italy to be near his family. Rogers is at a better club right now. Ancelotti - no reason to move and probably big compensation. Parker isn't experienced enough. Gerrard, yuk.
On that list, it's Nuno or Ralf. And they're both gambles. Not a fantastic time to change manager, though anyone is better than Jose ...
(Plus Potter and Howe, again both gambles)
