If it’s not possible to complete the season, ending with league standings as they are currently, is fairer than voiding an entire season

Absolutely. If you void the entire season do you refund the fans for the hundreds of millions?

This is poor. While voiding is by far the worst decision, ending with current standings isn't much better. There is no reason why closed doors matches can't happen in June-August in European countries
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is down to how we categorise football matches. They are included in the list of events, festivals and concerts. The ban for those events has been extended to September. In Germany football matches are excluded from that list.

I expect this has something to do with the UEFA meeting today.

Is there any Dutch teams left in the European competitions?

Then you postpone next season. Cancelling the whole season literally makes no sense and there hasn't been a valid argument for it. Just bitter man utd and spurs fans who can't accept the inevitable

Some clubs might refund tickets for games that can’t be completed.

Surely if they void the season then all tickets have to be refunded. As every game is null and void

How do you work that one out? If you’ve already paid to watch a match, then watched match, in what reality are you entitled to a refund?

Think you'll find the majority of United fans would like the season to be completed. 2 trophies still to play for.

Well if that's what you want then it has to be voided properly

If the season was null and void would City get their League Cup take off them?

Refunding people for an event they’ve already attended.

You have to log out again Joe? 2 man utd fans whose favourite player is Eric Cantona. Could be a bit more subtle.

So every Premier league game is an event?

posted on 21/4/20

Why do you say the league could be ended after september the 1st and then say that won't happen? Your decision or theirs?

Yeah what are the chances more than one person has Cantona as their favourite player. Christ, you get more stupid with every post.
