Absolutely. If you void the entire season do you refund the fans for the hundreds of millions?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some clubs might refund tickets for games that can’t be completed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Surely if they void the season then all tickets have to be refunded. As every game is null and void
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why refund tickets for a game they’ve already watched you stupid clown

Football is done for this season all over Europe. Not sure why supporters think football will carry on when thousands are dieing.
When it's all over football will probably reset for season 2021-22.

Then you postpone next season. Cancelling the whole season literally makes no sense and there hasn't been a valid argument for it. Just bitter man utd and spurs fans who can't accept the inevitable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Player contracts is the valid argument. Soon players are going to be out of contract. Some of them will leave their current club and sign new deals elsewhere and the integrity of the competitions has gone.

Why? There are clubs with players contracts coming to the end. In the lower leagues you've got teams with 4 or 5 players on loan and the same number of their own players whose contracts are due to run out. Do they just lose 10 players and keep playing?
And what about players who have family members that are high risk? You think they age going to risk playing?
Not to mention how unfair it is that some games would be played behind closed doors and home teams would lose their home advantage.
I'll be amazed if the season is finished now. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Why would spurs fans want it voided when one of the options is arsenal getting CL over us?
Contracts are a huge issue for clubs. To the point that FIFA have proposed them being extended.

And united fans have a great chance to qualify for the CL. Instead we will be in the ropey again. Nothing to do with being bitter and not wanting the season to finish. Just being realistic.

One of the suggestions in the Italian article linked above is that the club coefficients could be used to put teams into competitions next season.
https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/#/yr/2020
Spurs would miss out to the g00ns assuming Man City's ban isn't upheld.
No league in Europe can be concluded safely and fairly in these circumstances, the whole integrity of football across Europe has been brought into question.
I`m not sure how you can end league campaigns around Europe and then hand out promotions, relegations and titles based on a part finished season, that would be wholly unfair.
In a nut shell, football seasons around Europe can not now be completed 100% fairly, so they are left with no other option but to cancel and start again, which is by far the fairest solution.
Doing that is only unfair on a handful of clubs who were looking likely to gain promotion or win a trophy, handing out promotion and relegation based on a part completed season would be unfair on many more clubs who still had a lot to play for.
How would they do it, though? Current coefficient would have us in the top four, but that’s based on the points we’ve gained this season, a season that would be voided. If you disregard those points we go back below Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal.

That means nothing, just like the Prem they will want to give the impression that it can be finished even if they know it probably can't.
I read the other day that over 1k players are out of contract on July 1st in the Championship, League 1 and League 2 combined. It cannot be stressed enough what a huge issue that is.

Given that there's no precedent they can base it on what they like. The rankings as of when football stopped could be as good a reference as any. Deciding leagues and promotions/relegations is a different matter and a whole other round of negotiations.
