These articles turn into the same arguements from the same people:

Other fans: The season will be voidedsuck it up Liverpool fans

Liverpool fans: The season is more likely to be called than voided as that's more fair

Other fans: But but but, it will be voided so my team can benefit and our rivals lose out

Liverpool fans: It would be the most unfair way to resolve this.

Other fans: It might be though. It is an option.

Liverpool fans: Perhaps as a very last resort, and even then it's more likely to be called than voided.

Other fans: Liverpool fans only care about a league title when people are dying. Stop posting that the season will probably be completed. Its driving me crazy. I cant stand these Liverpool fans
------

I fixed this for you as you seem to be having keyboard problems.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Red glasses

----------------------------------------------------------------------
You wish.

Its not just Liverpool fans. In fact only a handful of people are refusing to see the truth of the situation, adamantly hoping for an outcome that helps their club and hurts another.

Ruud Gullit: Football is not as important as the well-being of people in general, and it is not more important than people who have other kind of businesses and are in huge kind of trouble. We have to try to save them all too.

But if things continue like this, then all football clubs are going to have the same sort of problems.

I know people are sick of how money is everything in the Premier League but you don't want to lose any of the clubs who play in it, which is why they are trying to find a solution so they can all survive.

Pat Nevin: Everyone wants answers right now, but you cannot give answers if you don't have all the information. What is a bad idea is making decisions now that may feel wrong three or four weeks down the line depending on where the pandemic goes from here.

If we are fortunate, then in the next three or four weeks, the health service will be in a much better position and we will have more information about the situation, having worked through it.

There are a variety of possibilities about what happens to the Premier League season but they are all completely and utterly dependent on timescale - if and when restrictions are lifted, and to what level.

Will they be lifted in time so you can play these games in front of fans? That seems unlikely to me.

And many many others. Its not our fault that half a dozen geniuses in this site have their head in the sand.

The Pool fans should not be so worried about the PL title, this season has been compromised irretrievably and as such any achievements are virtually meaningless.

Are they really going to celebrate winning the league under these circumstances, it is about as insignificant as it gets.

Nobody should want their name associated with this football season.

Desperate times indeed.

More plans being made for season restart.

Dowden said that this was "preparatory work" to see what would work "in practice", rather than getting ready for any imminent developments.

On the public perception that the return of sport would produce, Dowden said: "I would just want to make sure that the signals we were sending from that were consistent with the signals that we were sending to the public more broadly.

"So I think it is sensible at this stage to have the engagement, to think through it, but I've been clear in all the conversations I've had that all of this is without prejudice so let's do the work and then we will make the decision at the appropriate point - clearly, number one, in accordance with the scientific evidence."

Whatever happens someone, somewhere, will be hard done by. If we accept this now then the decisions that we're proposing become a lot easier.

No matter what happens there will be some moral or legal issue. So if this shiiiiiiiiiiit carries on until Feb 2021 then the obvious thing to do is just restart on March 13th or something and carry on but then you have issues with contracts.

If we can get playing by July just play behind closed doors but then there's H&S issues but then when do we start next season?

If it goes to say October or further then my gut says just void it but that's a killer for some clubs, mine included, and then when do we actually start next season anyway?

If we finish as it stands that's a killer for some clubs and then when do we actually start next season anyway?

Fact is the finish is only as relevant as when next season starts really and unless it gets locked off before August then there are about a billion player contract issues.

Working out when next season starts, and therefore the issue is covid, is as relevant as when this gets finished and right now we're not allowed to sit on a fvcking bench outside.

From what I understand there is absolutely going to be a relapse for want of better words, it will mutate and a vaccine will ve as much use as the current flu one. I was reading that when all is done in a couple of years the death rates will be the same everywhere. No politics, countries will just manage their deaths rates differently as it's inevitable and herd immunity is the only answer.

In lighter news; Dutch authorities have authorised the re-opening of the Red Light districts in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden (the main ones) and elsewhere, from May 15th.

Sex, in masks and gloves, and at two metre distance is the new hedonism.

Yea really do mis understand me in particular. My point is that it is merely POSSIBLE. That's all the point is that I have been making. Personally, I don't know what should happen, because every solution has a negative aspect that deems that solution unfair in some way or another.

But, whenever I have said that the season COULD (not should) be voided then I have met debate and argument almost constantly. I don't hate Liverpool and when I say it could happen, it does not consider Liverpool anymore than it does the other teams majorly impacted.

I think alot of you assume that Billy and Sandy are the voices for the rest of us.

Quotes for Gullit and Nevin, not really sure what that is trying to achieve.

-----
Have you considered that others feel the same way or is just abiutbyeh way you feel?

By your own admission you keep saying it could be voided, even though there is no sign of that at this time, so I don't know what you expect in response. Could you give me an example of an alternative response that you'd want to see? Because I don't think there's any. You should know what to expect and be able to deal with it, otherwise why comment in the first place?

-----
Sandy and Billy aren't the ones crying about respjnses from Liverpool fans though, are they? Personally I try to respond to yours and others comments and their content, nothing to do with those two.

Also, have you not moderated your opinion? A few weeks back you were like "yeah, void the season". There's other posters with Bale in their username so apologies if it wasn't you.

posted on 23/4/20

My username says Bake not Bale. I have maintained the whole time that I don't know what is the right thing to do. I think there are negatives to every scenario and I have voiced those in all scenarios at some stage.

I personally feel there are Liverpool fans in here arguing it wont/shouldn't be voided. Then others (mainly Spurs fan) saying it will/should.

Both sides are bias. I was trying to add some perspective on the debate by saying that it is possible. Not that it should happen. I don't know what u think is right.

Whenever I say that, I seem to be "attacked" (for want of a better word) for mentioning it. I cannot express this enough, I base these comments on gut feel and nothing to do with facts. No one knows what will happen yet but I think all options are on the table.

You really do misunderstand me. I think you are trying to make this into a tribal debate with me when that is not my intention. I haven't given Spurs a second thought in this.

No bias from me pal, my opinion is based purely on common sense, despite what the Mousers and Don like to think

posted on 23/4/20

Whoah! That's fair enough mate.

Except that people don't feel like they're attacking you, they're just like, making a point. Bias does not necessarily mean you're wrong. It would be dishonest of me to suggest I'm not biased, I am. At the very start I really thought it would be voided but looking at all info, facts and figures that have come out since, you realise it's nowhere near that easy to just void a season. Its a worst case scenario IMO but still possible of course.

Of course it was to strengthen the view that the season will restart.

There's a couple of nutjobs here saying there's no chance the season will restart. I posted several pieces of evidence that they have at this point in time plans for it to restart.
