why would people be insecure about city? They've been great last few years.
People are just rightly pointing out they are not the biggest team in the country. And I'm sure city fans would agree and don't care.
would any player choose to play for arsenal over city currently? or chelsea over city? or united over city?
there you go. better coach, better team ,better owners,, better success, better club.
yeah several would. People chose to go to chelsea over utd when utd were winning leagues.
But thats a different point anyway. You keep moving the goalposts.
For players its a business. If a technology firm offered me £200,000 a year to come to their company, and Apple offered me £60,000, I would go to the former. Wouldn't mean they are bigger than Apple.
Man Utd have over 73 million people who like their Facebook page.
Liverpool have only 36 million and Man City 39 million.
I think this is conclusive evidence that Man Utd are the biggest club in English football and we can draw a conclusion to this debate.

Even if money was equal they'd choose City. Play for the best team in England under Pep Guardiola and get to play Alongside Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero. They'd choose City, money or not.
jorgino recently joined chelsea over city.
But now you've narrowed it down to such a small criteria and specification. Definitely not the same as your original article.
Maybe do a new article and title it as "Clubs footballers would like to go to most in the country"
It illustrates my point. it shows City's power.
You don't really have a point at this stage. Maybe do a new article to reset
My point is that City are a huge club and you're in denial.
Clearly on the wum having Spurs above Arsenal
Arsenal haven't even played in the CL in years. It was generous putting them above Lester
And Spurs have won 2 league cups in my lifetime, I'm 27.
City will never be bigger than Utd either, 10 years of bought success doesn't cut it.
"They're the most well run and successful club in England currently"
They've been banned by UEFA
And will most probably be investigated by The FA

You're living in the 90s I think. City are huge globally now. They can sign any player in the world they want. Ask Barcelona or Bayern Munich which English team they're the most scared of. It won't be Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool. It will be City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the biggest load of nonsense...the team any team in Europe is most afraid of right now would be Liverpool (even despite their loss to Atletico), they are by far the best side in England, ferocious at home in most European matches, huge fan base and a highly respected manager.
In terms of biggest club, it has always been and still is between United and Liverpool. I obviously being a United fan would say we probably just edge it in terms of global power and prestige, although this wont last much longer if on field performances don't improve.

1. City
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree
Wahl it will take city another 50 years of sustained success to match United or Liverpool.
This is one of your worst wum attempts yet. Also Burnley
Teams aren't really scared of Liverpool in Europe. Atletico beat them home and away and Barcelona slapped them around at the Nou Camp last season and only lost due to a freak result at Anfield. Real beat them the season before as well. Domestically its a different story, everyone in England is probably scared of Liverpool.
City are a scarier team for the European giants like Real Madrid or Barcelona to face because of Guardiola.

I normally like you, but if you're going to be disrespectful I'll filter you like I already have had to do to two of the posters who commented on this article being disrespectful.
Utd is the only elite club from England, in world football. Then you get us who are that one level below.
The rest are just rich because of the money in the English game.

Real Madrid and Barca have regularly beaten City since they’ve been a CL club. Liverpool will always be seen as a bigger threat as they actually have some pedigree in the competition.

Not with Guardiola in charge.
Barca beat them 4-0 in the group stages. And Real Madrid and Barca have knocked out better Pep teams in Europe when he was managing Bayern.
As good as Pep is, his teams have been humiliated a number of times in the CL since leaving Barca.
